Seti River Rafting

A wilderness experience ideal for those seeking an introduction to rafting or kayaking. The Seti is one of Nepal’s most beautiful and warmest (!) rivers with spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife and rapids increasing in excitement as your confidence grows. The Chitwan National Park safari is only one and half hours drive from the “take-out” point.

Day 01:

 Drive to Damauli, and short rafting trip/ Camping at Corridor jungle riverbank

Day02:

Corridor jungle riverbank to Gaighat; rafting till 3PM (approx.) and drive back to Kathmandu or visit Chitwan National Park or drive to Pokhara.

Suggested Equipments for this trip

On the Raft:

  • Shorts
  • Sun Hat/ Cap
  • Sports Shoes (Trainers) Teva-type sandals (It’s important to have Rubber soles and that the shoe is either tied or uses Velcro/ Buckles to stay on the foot)
  • T-shirts
  • Sunglasses
  • Swimsuit
  • Sun Block
  • Water Bottle

Off the raft (at camp):

  • Long Lightweight trousers
  • Dry Shoes/socks
  • Warm Jacket/fleece
  • Long Sleeve Shirt
  • Good Sleeping bag
  • Towel
  • Torch/Flashlight
  • Toiletries
  • Any special personal medications
