Up on arrival at the International airport in the Kathmandu, you will be picked up by our airport representative and transfer to the hotel. After check in hotel you will have free afternoon to explore the area by yourself (if you need any assistance from us please let us know). Stay overnight in Kathmandu.
Today after breakfast you will be ready for day guided sightseeing tours to Swayambhunath stupa known as monkey temple; combination between Hinduism and Buddhism from when you will be able to see good view of Kathmandu valley. Drive to Patan Durbar square (city of living arts), Pashupatinath, one of the famous Hindus temple which is located near by the holy river Bagmati and then drive to Buddhanath stupa one of the biggest and oldest stupa in the world. And stay over night in Kathmandu.
Briefing: Later in the afternoon, the whole group is briefed about the trekking. We will be checking all the equipment for the trek. If something it’s not appropriate enough we can provide, rent or help to buy it here.
Once all the equipment is checked and we are sure you go up there well dressed, we have the well come dinner with the whole group.
As per your flight time you will be picked up one and half hour earlier from hotel for your transfer to domestic airport. After the necessary security formalities (keep your pen-knife-lighter-matches and other sharp cutting items including scissors and other knife in the bigger baggage not in hand bags) board in the smaller twin otter or similar plane for the sweeping panoramic flight of 35 minutes to Lukla 2800m. In Lukla you will have time to stroll around, while the guide sort and divide the load baggage to be carried by porters for your short trek of about 3-4 hrs to Phakding at 2652m. Lunch hour will depend upon the time of arrival at Lukla, either in Lukla or few hrs walks further down on route to Phakding. The walk is gradual and most of the way, with few ups from Tarhe khola, where you can have a superb view of Kusum-Kangru 6,369m crossing a short suspension bridge, from here after a short climb brings us to the Ghat village, another 01 hrs gradual walk brings you to Phakding village for the overnight stop near the bank of the Dudh-Kosi River.
From Phakding after crossing the suspension bridge over the Dudh-Kosi the walk is pleasant with few short uphill and downhill and re-crossing the same river again, with magnificent view of Thermasarkhu 6,608m, from the village of Benkar, cross the long suspension bridge over the Bhote-Koshi River, after the bridge reaches a small village call Monjo. After few minutes’ walk from Monjo, comes to the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park, where your trekking permit especially the park ticket is checked and keeps the record of all trekkers going to and from this place including the local trekking staff as well.From here a short descend and a gradual walk brings us to the suspension bridge over the Bhote-Koshi river, after the bridge Jorsalle village is reached, the last village till Namche Bazaar, from here the walk is pleasant on the river bed till the last bridge over the Imjatse river is reached, from here the walk is along the winding uphill path all the way to Namche Bazaar, with magnificent view of Kwangde peak and it other sister peaks towards east, with Kusum kangru on the back as you climb higher, view of Mt.Everest- Nuptse wall, Lhotse and the closer view of Taweche peak can be seen all the way to Namche, from lunch 2-3 hours reaches you at Namche Bazaar the colorful houses are situated in an amphitheatre U shaped bowl. Stay overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Today you have easy day, a short walk uphill to the Sagarmatha National Park Headquarter, a magnificent spot perched on top of Namche Bazaar with breathtaking view of the surrounding snow capped mountain includes Mt. Everest and the valleys way down, with an interesting museum with all kinds of information regarding the history of the Himalayas, geographic, culture, mountaineering history and existing information on flora and fauna of this region. After short visit around the Museum, about 01 and half hrs steep climb brings you up to Syangeboche, further to Everest View Hotel for magnificent panoramic view of Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Mt. Everest, Nuptse and many more. Trek back to Namche for overnight. Stay overnight at Yeti Mountain Home.
From Namche Bazaar the path short climbs eastwards and follows the Dudh Kosi again, high above the riverbed. We descend gradually to the village of Teshinga, from Teshinga the trail drops more steeply to the river, crossing it at Phunki Tenga at 3,250m. From Phunki Tenga ascend all the way to Tengboche through the forest with nice view of the mountain. From here we have a magnificent panoramic view of mountains surrounding us including Mt Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam. Tengboche is a sacred spot, visitors should be careful to respect the spirit of this sacred place. Later in the afternoon you can enjoy with Puja in the Monastery. Stay overnight in Tengboche.
Today after wonderful morning in the Tengbuche, from Tengboche the path leads downhill through a forest of Rhododendrons to Deboche. Once we cross a bridge over the Imja Khola, ascend all to what o Pangboche, the highest permanent settlement in this valley. We are above the trek line; a short climb brings us to Dingboche which is summer settlement. Stay overnight in Dingboche.
We spend a day at Dingboche for Acclimatization/Rest, adapting well to the altitude can hike up to Nangkartshang Peak at 5110m. From this hill has a spectacular view of Cholatse, Tawoche, Ama Dablam and Makalu. Stay overnight in Dingboche.
Today after breakfast we follow the valley towards Island peak and Chhukung with gentle walk. After lunch we ascend Chhukung Ri (5550m/18209ft). From here we can see directly across the valley to the fantastic snow and Ice formation on Ama Dablam and the Amphu Labsa. Trek back to Chhukung for overnight stay.
Today an early start as we head towards the Kongma La Pass. We begin by following the valley on a fairly level path before a short, steep ascent which brings us in to the shadows of Pokalde Peak and Chhukung. We continue to climb until we reach the pass at 5530m. From the pass we descend steeply to the Khumbu Glacier which we have to cross to reach Lobuche. From the pass you have magnificent Mountain View surrounded you. From Lobuche you have fantastic view of sunset on Nuptse. Stay overnight in Lobuche.
After an early morning start, we ascend through the glacier to the Gorak Shep. After meals with some time rest trek to Everest Base Camp which is located at the foot of the Khumbu Icefall. The trail winds up and down with nice view toward base camp, in spring we can see many of the expedition teams as they prepare to summit the mountain. From Base camp we get fantastic close views of the Khumbu Ice fall Nuptse toward above us and Pumori. Trek back to Gorakshep and say over night at the tea house.
Today, early in the morning before breakfast, to see a perfect view we have to climb through the steep way from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar i.e. small peak (Black Rock) from here you will have excellent views of Mt Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Pumori, Khumbu Glacier and other many high mountains around you. We trek back to Gorak Shep and after breakfast re-trace down to Lobuche. We follow the Khumbhu glacier through the valley before turning off above the Chla Tso Lake towards our nest pass, the Cho La. Stay overnight in Dzonglha.
The day start with an early morning breakfast. We begin by following the valley on a fairly level path before a short, steep ascent which brings us in to the Cho La pass. At the top of the pass (5420m/17782ft) we cross the icy sloping surface of the glacier. Initially the descent is very steep and for a while then the path becomes easier as we finally reach the lodges at Thangnag for overnight stay.
The path starts with few up and down towards Ngozumpa glacier, which is largest in the Nepal Himalaya. A magnificent walk across the glacier brings us to Longpongo the first Lake on the Gokyo valley. As we following the valley on a fairly level path which brings us to Gokyo for overnight stay. Afternoon explore around the area.
Again we make an early start to make the most of the clear morning skies. Crossing a small stream we make a long steep ascent to the small peak called Gokyo Ri (5463m/17923ft) which is set above the Lake. From this vantage point there are excellent views of Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Makalu. Descend to the Gokyo, after is also possible to explore some glacier lakes further north towards Cho Oyu Base Camp. Stay overnight in Gokyo.
The days walk is rewarding as the top exposes the view of Everest massif in the east, Rolwaling Himal in the west with other snowy peaks towards the north. We begin with a steep climb up to the Renjo-la pass (5345m/17536ft)before descending to the settlement of Lungden (4380m/14370ft). There is a chance we will meet Tibetan Traders descending from the Nangpa La pass that leads through the Himalayas from Tibet with their caravans of woolly yaks laden with goods. Stay overnight in Lungpden.
After breakfast today as we walk through a stunning landscape following an old Tibetan trade route to the village to Thame, the birthplace of Tenzing Norgay Sherpa, the first man to summit Mt Everest along with Sir Hillary. In the afternoon explore around the Thame village and Monastery. Stay overnight in Thame.
Our trail today first descends to the river before hiking on the gradual and beautiful trail towards the village of Namche Bazaar where we stop for lunch. After lunch we descend even further to Monjo for overnight.
Re-track our steps along the east bank of the Dudh Kosi, we make our final ascent down to Lukla, arriving sometime in the afternoon, after ample time to relax and enjoy the feeling of a job well done. Stay overnight in Lukla.
Walking the short distance to the airport this morning catch the early flight back to Kathmandu as possible (if the weather permitting). On arrival you will transfer to hotel, the rest of the day has been left free to relax and shopping. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.
