Excellent service: trustworthy, diligent, empathic and clever, Dipak works hard and has a good link with the people he collaborates with.
TripAdvisor Review of: Enabling my personal altitude record
Dipak and his mountaineering team are very flexible, dedicated and fully supporting. A great pleasure, and a good escape from COVID in Germany to friendly people in a Nepal with little Covid problems in the mountains.
TripAdvisor Review of: Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day
Where do I start? There are so many concerns while picking up the right tour company for your trek. After a lot of looking around, we finally booked trekking planner for our EBC trek. And Boy! It was the best decision. Dipak was super patient and helpful in addressing all our queries. It was a really smooth experience from the moment we landed in Kathmandu. We were welcomed with a lovely welcome dinner (a cultural show here was a surprise) and then the following day we were taken for a guided tour of Kathmandu.
When we arrived in Lukla, we were received by our cheerful guide Gyeljan, porters Chhongba and Gelu. Gyeljan took care of all our needs and made sure that we were all very comfortable. He kept our spirits up specially on the difficult trekking days when it was the most needed. He is the best guide one could ask for.
Don’t forget to ask him his card tricks. 😊😊
Chhongba and Gelu were also super helpful and really a lot of fun to be trekking with. Our days would end with us playing various board games/pool with Chhongba and Gelu.
Accommodations on all the days was very comfortable, hygienic and the food was good too.
As requested we got attached washrooms with our rooms on all days except just for Gorakshep.
All in all guys it was a Fantastic experience.
Look no more and book trekking planner.
You can thank me later! 😊😊
Review of: Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day
It was our very first experience of this sort and we had many queries and concerns for the trek. Dipak was very efficient and responsive in every aspect. He was true to his word to all that he had promised to provide us with. Especially attached toilets to the rooms. Also when we suddenly decided a helicopter ride back from gorakshep, he immediately got us the best deal. There was never a delay or wait for pickup or drop. Dipak was very efficient in replying to messages and calls instantly. Provided an experienced guide, Gyeljan with his entertaining and cheerful nature. All this was given at a reasonable price! I would surely and highly recommend Nepal trekking planner to everyone who’s looking for a satisfactory experience. Me myself would surely book Nepal trekking Planner for any future expeditions
Review of: Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day
The trek was very well organized by trekking planner. Dipak is very prompt with whatever questions we had all throughout the trek. We had especially insisted on attached bathrooms, and were delivered what we were promised. He made sure our stay was comfortable from the beginning up to the end. The prices quoted by him are reasonable and value for money.
Our guide Gyeljan kept us safe. He was very entertaining and made sure we had a great time. I recommend him completely. He really lifted up our moods when we were tired.
Safety and comfort are key in any trip. We were given utmost safety and comfort possible. I sincerely recommend Trekking Planner for touring and trekking in Nepal.
TripAdvisor Review of: Very flexible and service oriented agency
In October / November 2021 I travelled with a friend to Nepal for 4 weeks, thereof 2,5 in the Everest region, the rest of time we spent in Pokhara and Chitwan National Park. After some research in the internet we picked Trekking Planner to organize the trip according to our guidelines and instructions. Trekking Planner did a fantastic job. Dipak, the owner of Trekking, was always very reponsive and answered our many questions on short notice. The flexibility was outstanding and we were able to make changes to our itinerary without any hassle. Lastly, a great team, consisting of climbing guide Gyeljan Shera and Sonam as well as Ngima Sherpa made the trip most enjoyable and the team helped us to climb a number of peaks including > 6.000m Island Peak (in fact having the right team in the montains makes the difference). All in all we can highly recommend Trekking Planner.
TripAdvisor Review of: Trekking planner professionals are so great! Solved all our problems, great companions!
Our group had the pleasure to really enjoy the trip to Annapurna base camp with a Trekking planner in October 2021. Everything proposed was fully done, even more. Our guide Ramez and porter Milan were real professionals and great companions. The sole has fallen off my wife´s boot, no shoemaker at hand, and Ramez very precisely fixed the sole with 5 superglue sticks. What an amazing job, worked perfectly for 3 rainy days! Their hospitality was really breathtaking, nobody cared about me so much from my childhood. They truly helped us to fulfill their wishes “enjoy your holiday”, “take your time”, “enjoy the mountains”. Thanks to the Trekking planner our journey was completely on another level.
After our last goodbye at the airport problem with PCR test suddenly occured (mandatory to enter the airport!) and Dipak immediately helped to solve our problem and gave us huge support, even though he didnt have to. Dipak really saved our journey!
eTripAdvisor Review of: Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day
If you think you want to go to EBC or any trekking adventure in Nepal you must use Nepal Trekking Planner. From my first inquiry, Dipak was very quick to communicate and answer all questions. He took care of every detail of the trip from airport pick up to setting additional nights in a hotel to ensuring I was able to get COVID testing per country requirements on entry and exit--- he truly personalizes each trip to your needs. They even run trips on select dates even if you are a solo traveler with no additional fees. Ananta was my guide and since it was just me he also portered my bags. I certainly left Nepal with people who I now consider dear friends, and I am so lucky to have had someone to keep me laughing and positive while on the trek. Ananta was amazing, and I honestly wouldn't have finished the trek if it wasn't for him. When I came down with altitude sickness and wanted to quit, he assessed my symptoms and encouraged me rest and let me know it would be better tomorrow-- which it definitely was. He pushed me and encouraged positive thoughts only which is truly what got me through the trek. Things with the government and a lockdown d/t COVID happened quickly while I was there and both Dipak and Ananta went above and beyond to ensure I could get back to the US before all international flights were shut down. Ananta never left my side and kept me calm while he was dealing with all my tears because I thought I was going to be stuck in Nepal for an unknown period of time. He was also such a trooper--even with a sprained ankle after a fall, he never complained and was still faster than me getting down the mountain! These two are a great team! and EBC is amazing! You have to go! and you have to go with Nepal Trekking Planner!
The Absolute Best Service
I just completed a climb with Trekking Planner- Gyeljan Sherpa and I summited Mera peak on 4/30 and made a dream of mine come true! This is the second time i come to Nepal with Trekking Planner and it is always a pleasure to plan and work with Dipak! Everything is organized to the smallest detail-from airport pick up, to meals and gear rentals-everything is great every time! Gyeljan was more than an excellent guide, he made sure i am ok at all times not only physically but mentally also when above 6000m! Pasang was also making sure i am well fed and taken care of at all times while at the lodges. Dipak made sure the return and stay at hotel was rescheduled smoothly due to ongoing changes. This is an amazing company that provides the best service both in Kathmandu and high in the mountains! I will be back next year for sure!!! Thank you for everything!!!
TripAdvisor Review of: Incredible experience trekking to Annapurna Base Camp!
We had the best 12 days with our guide Ramesh trekking to Annapurna Base camp in May 2019 (slow on the review, sorry!) The scenery was so beautiful and Ramesh was excellent company and so knowledgeable. We can’t speak highly enough about the experience - if you’re planning a trip make sure to ask for Ramesh! 10/10!
Budget Holiday Nepal Tour Review
I landed in Nepal and volunteered for a week I was staying at Kathmandu Peace Guest house where Dipak organized someone to pick me up. Right from the start of my tour Dipak organized everything amazingly. I was initially worried about travelling as a young solo female but Dipak and his team made me feel extremely comfortable and well taken care of right through my entire trip. My guide Suman was extremely helpful, the most down to earth, thoughtful guide/ friend I made on my trip. I highly recommend him. Throughout my transit between Kathmandu to Chitwan to Lumbini I felt very taken care off. All the hotels and guest houses I stayed at were amazing along the way. The tours in Kathmandu, Chitwan and Lumbini to Pokhara were fantastic. Sadly, due to coronavirus I had to immediately cancel the last portion of my trip which included the trek to Poon Hill - Ghorepani. I just got to Pokhara and was scrambling to figure out a way back to Kathmandu asap for the next morning. My guide Suman was amazing, he made me feel at ease and guaranteed me a safe return. He was such a great friend. As I returned to Kathmandu Dipak promised to give me a 15% discount if I come back to Nepal and do a trek with them which I promised myself to do. Im definitely going to visit Nepal and finish my trek with Trekking Planner. Dipak was amazing he organized my stay at the hotel for the last few days and understanding the circumstances allowed me to spend a few more days and eat all meals with an airport drop off. I cannot stress to do your trip with this company enough. Im so glad I met Dipak and his team. I hope to see them again in the near future. It has been my greatest pleasure touring with Trekking Planner Nepal.
TripAdvisor Review of: Everest Base Camp Trek
Amazing experience with Trekking Planner from start to finish and I can't thank all those involved enough! Deepak was extremely helpful in organising the perfect trek and anything else I needed and it was obvious from my arrival at the airport that he had a great team with him. I was greeted by Suman, a very friendly character who helped me a lot over the following days in organising myself for the upcoming trek. For the trek, my guide Nirmal was absolutely fantastic! I would say he definitely enhanced an already amazing experience. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, organised and very easy to get along with. Full credit to Deepak for choosing such a great team.
You don't need to look anywhere else for your Nepal adventures. This is a whole team who cares about your experience and ensuring that you'll leave with fantastic memories and awesome experiences.

TripAdvisor Review of: Dolpo and Limi valley with trekking planner.
In September and October 2019 I trekked in Dolpo and Limi Valley with trekking planner. All together, it was my 4th trip with trekking planner. The year before I trekked from Kanchenjungabc to Makalu bc and trekked from Manasalu to Nar Phu. The owner of the company Dipak patiently worked with me before my arrival in Nepal, patiently helping me choose my ideal trek. Dipak was able to very quickly arrange all the flights, permits and logistics necessary for trekking in extremely remote areas of Nepal. One of the best things about trekking planner is the quality of the staff he hires. All 4 of my treks with trekking planner were led by Dhirendra Kharki, who I highly recommend. He is a wonderful guide especially if you want to by visit some of the more remote areas of Nepal. Altogether I have spent almost 90 days in the mountains with Dhirendra, so I know him very well. I have met many of Dipak's other guides and assistants in Kathmandu, and they are also very good people, I felt very at home in Nepal.
TripAdvisor Review of: Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day
From the moment I landed in Kathmandu, to the moment I left. Trekking planner provided me with the experiences I needed to make a trip of a lifetime.
Met at the airport by a company representative. I was driven to my hotel which allowed me to relax after my flight from the UK. Deepack helped me to organise a few days of sightseeing around Kathmandu. Given me the chance to see everything I wanted, and providing me with a guide and private to take me around.
The trek itself was absolutely amazing. I can not fault the guides we were with. Or the other people in our group. A truly amazing experience that I will never forget.
The only bad thing is that it makes me want to go back for more!
Thank you Trekking Planner for an experiance of a lifetime!
TripAdvisor Review of: Annapurna panorama trek and Bandipur tour with guide Suman Dhakal, the bes
Trekking Planners Nepal is the tour company you need for the most epically diverse experience of Nepal!!
I highly recommend this company, as Suman Dhakal, our tour and trekking guide, has allowed our family to experience the Himalayas fresh air, along with Kathmandu and Pokhara culture. He has an awesome positive attitude, that inspired me to learn about the Nepalese way of living, religion and culture. He has kept my family safe and we have felt well looked after and cared for.
Our two porters Subash and Thaman are extremely hard working men, who are very humble and lovely company.
Trekking Planners Nepal has given us the experience of a life time. We are very grateful to have had this experience with Dipak’s team of kind and caring men.
Recommend this tour group company for an inspiring and rewarding experience like no other!!
TripAdvisor Review of: "Gokyo Trek, 11 days"
My first Nepal experience exceeded all my expectations. Magnificent landscape and impressive culture. Thanks to my friend, Klaus, who has already had very good experiences with Trekking Planner (Dipak and his team), we were always in good hands. Individual planning, all-round service (airport shuttle, flight to/from Lukla) stage planning, attentive but not intrusive information. Special thanks also to guide Ananta and our porter Ganeh, who took great care of us and made this adventure possible for us.
TripAdvisor Review of: Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day
I truly cannot express enough what a difference the guides and this company made on my 13-day adventure, trekking to Everest Base Camp. Their attention to detail was noticed within the planning, from the moment they picked me up at the airport until the moment they dropped me off to return home. My experience within Kathmandu was amazing, from the guided tour of the city to the post-trek massage. During the trek, the guides were encouraging, fun, caring, and extremely compassionate. They answered my never-ending questions, gave me a huge at the end of hard days, and even carried my pack for me on a day I was extremely sick. This trip would not have been possible without them - I truly believe I wouldn't have made it otherwise. Cannot recommend enough.
TripAdvisor Review of:"ADVENTURE IN NEPAL! 10 WONDERFUL DAYS!!"
“We have spent 8 wonderful days in Kathmandu and Pokhara. The reason for our trip: to inaugurate a school on the outskirts of Kathmandu, within the Solidarity Project of the Group of Companies for which I work. We knew Dipak for 2 years, he organized the trip and the trekking that my 2 bosses did. With a lot of flexibility and always aware of everything with the best services under his supervision. So, logically this trip has been organized for us again. Thank you so much for everything Dipak! We will see each other again!!! Namaste, Paula”
TripAdvisor Review of: Three Passes Trek
My niece & I had a wonderful time on our 3 passes trek and we were glad we chose Trekking Planner as our guiding company. Deepak provided superb service right from the point of our first email inquiry. He replied promptly & clearly answered all our questions. His planning was thorough & he delivered on the details. Friendly company staff picked us up from the airport in Kathmandu & took us to our Guesthouse. They also delivered us back at the end of the trek. Deepak met with us before & after the trek to go over plans and answer questions. He introduced us to our guide Parbat & ensured we boarded the bus for Ramechhap. Parbat took good care of us on the trek. He oversaw our adjustment to altitude carefully and tended well to Guesthouse and meal arrangements. The accommodation varied from comfortable to 'basic' but we expected & prepared ourselves for that. We chose to mainly eat local foods eg. Dal bharts, & found they provided good fuel for the walking. Sometimes we asked the cook to dial back the spices! Parbat spoke good English and communicated clearly with us most of the time. We did need to ask for more info on occasions & go over some things a few times to gain clarity. This was always done with patience on his part however. He helped us pace ourselves and communicate with our Kamal our porter. Kamal was a great support, cheerful & strong, & we were glad to have him carry the bulk of our gear for the last two weeks after carrying it ourselves for the first 6 days. As fit & seasoned Kiwi trampers/trekkers we didn't find the route overly difficult. We did find it demanding however mainly due to the effects of high altitude & a gastro bug that sucked energy from our bodies for a few days. The scenery was stunning, the people were amazing, the weather was fine, clear & calm nearly every day! We were very grateful for the support we received from Deepak, Parbat, Kamal & the Trekking planner team on our adventure & highly recommend Deepak for his professional & personable service.
TripAdvisor Review of: Excellent Trip with an Amazing Company!
I absolutely recommend Trekking Planner! Dipak and his team are truly committed to providing their clients with an incredible experience. They covered all the details from start to finish, and ensured we had the trip of a lifetime.
Dipak was highly responsive to our emails during the planning process, responding within 24 hours (often sooner) and providing us with all the info we needed to prepare. He and Prajwal were wonderful hosts during our time in Kathmandu.
We did the Tsum Valley trek with Binod (our guide) and Uttam (our porter). They took such good care of us. Binod was a wonderful guide. We learned so much about the area and the culture while on our trek. He was funny, kind, and encouraging (he even literally held my hand when I almost panicked while crossing a particularly steep section of the trail). His positive energy and attitude were contagious, and made the trip extra special. Uttam was a fantastic porter. He was incredibly friendly and warm. The two of them truly went above and beyond for us - we loved the games that they taught us to play during our down time at the teahouses. The four of us became like a little "trekking family" during the course of our 13 days.
This is a company that truly cares. I am so grateful we chose them, and we'll definitely go with them again on our next trip to Nepal (which is hopefully sooner rather than later)!
TripAdvisor Review of: Island Peak & Everest Basecamp
Trekked to Everest Basecamp and had a successful climb on Island Peak thru this company. Had my incredible fit and well English speaking trekking guide Ngima. He knew where to go and what to do, was very friendly and never complained.
Had a separate guide (Gyeljin, who also is a Trekking guide) for my climb on Island Peak. He was very confident and experienced, and also a lot of fun, with an incredible English. He knew what I was capable of because he saw my level of fitness, and mindset. Therefore he made the decision to go, if I felt safe to climb, even though we were behind schedule, due to bad weather. We had a successful climb from basecamp to the top in about five and a half hour. His confidence and great decision making, is the reason why I had a successful climb. As the weather only got worse for the next 4 days.
The whole Trek is in general beautiful, and I can fully recommend it to anyone. The whole is was also nicely organized and everything went smoothly.
Tripadvisor Review of: Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day
Did the trek of a lifetime with Nirmal, Suraj and Sandip-they took care of everything, were always ready to help and kept encouraging us! I will definitely return for another trek and do it with them again!!!
Tripadvisor Review of: Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day
Just returned home after an amazing trek to EBC!! It was one of the hardest things I have ever done, but I couldn’t have finished it without our amazing guides from trekking planner. They took care of us literally every step of the way. They carried our packs when we needed, orchestrated all our meals, and made sure we were happy the whole way through! Highly recommend book through them!
Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day
I came to the Everest Base Camp trek last year with my friends and the personal service that I received from Dipak was outstanding.
When another one of my friends asked me to go with him to Nepal to do EBC, there was only ever going to be one company I was going with, Nepal Trekking Planner.
Again Dipak, organised everything so that we would not have to worry and made sure we were looked after from the moment we landed at Kathmandu to when we left.
The journey was not easy but Suman our guide looked after us on the mountain as we walked up and down mountains, crossing suspension bridges, meeting the local Nepalese people and trying to avoid mules and yaks on the path but the views and the paths we took made it worthwhile, an experience many only dream only off.
We did not have to worry about paying for lodges, food, airfare, permit fees on the trek as it was all taken care of in the package.
Whilst I was in Kathmandu I decided I wanted to visit another part of Nepal and Dipak listened to my requirements and within hours organised a flight and transport for the next day… that is the type of outstanding service that you get when you go with this company.
I would highly recommend Trekking Planning not only for the Everest Base Camp Trek but for any other walks, visits, that you may want to do whilst you are in Nepal.
Thank you, Dipak, for looking after us, you are a genuine kind person who puts his customers first and nothing is too much trouble as long as the customer is happy.
What an amazing trip and great guides-Nirmal and Suraj! Awesome trekking company, very professional and especially Dipak's attentiveness was above and beyond! Everything was on point and well organized! EBC was the first of many trips to come for me with Trekking Planner. I am coming back in April for another destination and hopefully again next year!!! Thank you for everything!
This company goes above and beyond! They think of every detail and take care of all the trekking needs including accommodations, food, water tablets, medical emergencies, etc. Our guide Nirmal was extremely familiar with the trail, he was attentive - making sure everyone was taken care of, made us laugh the entire way, gave great advice/tips/recommendations for a successful trek, generous (carried some of the day packs up when they were feeling tired), encouraged us and more! I was so impressed with how well thought out everything was and I loved that I didn’t have to worry about the details and all I had to do was show up. The other guides and porters were all just as fun, thoughtful, and accommodating. I would highly recommended these guys for the EBC trek!
In March i completed the Everest High Pass trek with Trekking Planner and had all the support i needed from Trekking planner from planning the trip, to arriving in Nepal and then completing the trek. I had an amazing guide in Gyeljen, whose knowledge of the area was the best! This meant I was able to make it over the passes when many other groups didn't due to the weather. He helped with all the accommodation and provided great advice to help me deal with the altitude and very cold weather as these were a new challenge to me. The whole team and Dipak were very welcoming and funny and this meant the trek and then the visit to Chitwan afterwards was one of the best experiences of my life! Would highly recommend and planning to return sometime soon.
Everest Base Camp is such an amazing trek, but to have the best, kindest and funniest guide, who encouraged our team all the way and back, made my trek extra special. Nirmal Lamichhane your knowledge of all the mountains are incredible and you knew everyone on the trek. Watching you interact with the rest of the guides, they clearly have great respect for you. You are a natural leader. You are ambitious and know where you want to be in the future and I applaud you for studying while doing treks and taking people up into the mountains.
I enjoyed your stories and games along the way especially the last 2 hours before reaching Namche when it was up, up and up (your way of saying it is very steep). When I fell ill and gotten worse you were there all the way alongside me to help and encourage. The morning after reaching Base Camp when I was faced with being evacuated from Gorakshep, you told me that you believe that I could finish the trek and you would be there all the way if I choose to do so. Seeing the helicopter leave was hard but you believed in me and it made all the difference. Thank you so much.
Nirmal carried my bag on our decent in order for me to be able to breath better (I had bad flue, borderline bronchitis). Out of his own pocket, he bought us Fanta, lollypops, gum .... anything to lift moral on the last day down to Lukla. Our group had such fun with Nirmal.
If ever you need a guide, Nirmal is the perfect man for your trek. He does varies treks into the mountains, not only to Base Camp. Mountain expert, clued-up with flights to/ from Lukla, knows everyone and teahouses, can help with last minute gear, great knowledge about altitude sickness and knows how to take great photos (and how to pose, lol).
TrakkingPlanner and Travel Her Way are very lucky to have Nirmal as a guide.
The organising of my trip was great. Before leaving the UK, all my emails were answered promptly. Collecting from the airport, great accommodation in Kathmandu and the tea houses we stayed at on our trek was great. We were taken to a welcoming dinner at a local Nepali restaurant. What an experience. They also arrange for a farewell dinner back in Kathmandu - all included in the price. The care and detail was appreciated. Fruit and biscuits at dinner while on the trek- and the guides carried all of it all the way. Taking our oxygen levels after every meal to make sure we were in great shape.
All in all I had the best experience! Thank you Trekking Planner.
What a trip!
What a great buch of guys at Nepal Trekking Planner!
Dipak and his team made my trip so easy, simple and enjoyable - I can't still hardly believe it.
I felt totally safe and fully supported - which was a big thing for me as I was unsure how the high altitude would affect me. I needn't have worried as my guide Ananta and porter Ganesh were brilliant - really helpful, patient and firendly. Every night my blood/oxygen saturation was checked which gave me real confidence. Not many of the guides from different agencies were doing this which suprised me a little.
I had 16 days in the mountains and enjoyed every minute. As things became harder or easier, my intinery was flexible with Ananta very willing recommmend alternatives and to make changes to suit. This made a real difference and I really felt that I got the most from my trek.
I'm not one for recommending and over-praising but Dipak, Ananta and Ganesh all went the extra mile to make it all very special indeed.
Well done guys and (funds permitting) see you next year!
Just finished the EBC trip with Trekking Planner. Brilliant service from Prajol in Kathmandu who covered my every need with cheerfulness. My guide on the trek, Sudip, was excellent throughout ensuring I made it to Kala Pattar despite a severe headache. He was great fun and was ably supported by Damact (?) as my porter. All in all I really aprecated the service from Dipak and his team and recommend them wholeheartedly.
Our Manaslu Circuit trekking was organized by Trekking Planner in Kathmandu. Deepak, the owner did great job taking care of all details so it was fantastic experience for us! We spent 14 days in the mountains, for us quite difficult trail but everything was organized so well with all needed information, accommodation in tea houses, super great food and people who took care of us on the way. We do not forget our guide Ramesh Pun very knowledgable, helpful and always smiling. We highly recommend this company for all your trekking needs.
Andrew and Krystyna
Had the best experience trekking in the Himalayas with trekking planner. Our guide was Nirmal, he was always positive and encouraging. He was definitely one of the reasons we made it to base camp and back. Our porter was Roshan, he is kind and incredibly hard working. Trekking at high altitudes is extremely challenging, we would not have been able to complete this trek without the help and encouragement from our trekking planner team. This was the trip of a life time! If I ever return to the Himalayas to complete another trek, I will definitely request Nirmal and Roshan to be on my trekking team again. Could not have done it without them!
I went to Everest Base Camp in August 2019. EBC was my best life experience so far which I will never forget. It is sooooooo beautiful.
As a female solo traveller, I truly felt "safe" with my guide (Ramesh) and the porter. Ramesh is a great photographer who helped me to record all those beautiful moments, the porter was such a helpful, friendly young guy who always had a smile on his face and helped me every morning to pack the sleeping bag which was not his duty and I am thankful for.
A few areas of improvement for the guide (Ramesh).
1) On the way back to Namche which we supposed to have lunch there, I suddenly found myself alone in the mountain, the guide just left without even telling me, I even could not see him from far, he just disappeared suddenly. I was frustrated and panic somehow, after a long walk when I reached the restaurant we supposed to have lunch (the same restaurant that we stopped 3 days ago) the guide was there and was enjoying his drink!!! He did not even bother to explain or apologize for his action. Still, it is not clear to me why he did that!
2) At EBC we took a photo with the company banner, in which was written Kala Patthar!!!, which we did not even go to! On the way back, I found out that it was only 2-3 hours more walk to Kala Patthar which if I had more information about this, I would definitely be wanted to go. It is the saddest thing about my trip. I regret that I could go to Kala Patthar and we did not! :(
3) He felt his job is done after we reached EBC because he changed a lot in attitude and his service! e.g. in Kathmandu airport, he left me alone with my heavy backpack and was talking on the phone and disappeared! I was running after him with a heavy backpack at a crowded airport and he did not even care about me to help or at least wait for me to reach him! I found it rude.
4) The guide kept justifying (lying!) about things. E.g. in some hostel/tea houses, I requested a room upstairs, and he could just say our estimated budget is x and I can not upgrade ur room, (that I could understand or I could pay the extra fee myself for a better room) instead he was like, the rooms are full (the whole hostel was empty on that season) or the upper floor is not good, next day I asked the hostel manager and the second floor rooms were slightly (2$) more expensive! shocking, I wish I had the option to upgrade my room and I could pay the balance myself! another example was a museum in Namche which he said it is closed! so I did not go, and at night, people were telling me about that museum which they went THAT day. He needs to be more honest, and less stingy!
5) The last day plan was to help me to buy some souvenirs and then to visit a temple in the evening with another guide. I asked if he can company me for lunch first, he said he already had his lunch! so we started shopping, after 20 minutes, he kept looking at his watch, 100 times per minute, I asked if he is in rush, he said "Yes, I am going to meet my friends for lunch!", I felt so offended by his attitude and asked him if he wants to go now? he gladly left without asking with me if I know how to return to my hotel, and disappeared in a blink of an eye! I got lost and confused there and later I texted the tour manager and cancelled the other tour, I told him I am going to meet my friends!!! but the fact was I disgust his behaviour so much that I did not want to meet any of such guides anymore. I explored the city by myself happily on that day "alone"!
5) And many more but the word limit does not allow me to write more...
As InterNation ambassador who has organized many international events, and as a foreign lecturer who is dealing with lots of international students, I gave him many suggestions and advice which I hope he employs, and indirectly I recommended him to change his job to a hostel manager or sth, I did not find him passionate or self-motivated at all! the role of the guide is not to walk ahead to people follow you, it is something more than that! He needs to learn to be a good listener, many times he replied something that proven me that he did not even listen! He is a good human but not a great guide.
Ramesh does not have my recommendation at all.
I booked a 13 day Everest Base Camp trek online after finding that Trekking Planner were the only company offering dates that matched my leave. Prior to booking, Dipak answered all my questions efficiently via email. He didn’t ask me for a deposit when I booked, which I initially thought was unusual but I now see is just another example of the high standard of service offered.
The whole trek was very well organised from start to finish. I was particularly impressed with my guide, Sudip, and porter, Gelu. They were very friendly and put my safety and enjoyment of the trek first at all times. Sudip regularly checked my oxygen levels and advised me what was safe to eat and drink so I didn’t get sick at any point. He was also very knowledgeable regarding the culture and history of the national park, and just good fun to spend time with. He was always on the lookout for a good photo opportunity and I’ve got a memory card fun of silly (and some sensible) photos to show friends and family. There were times when we needed a change of plan, such as my flight from Lukla to Kathmandu being delayed for weather, and Sudip knew exactly what to do and supported my throughout.
The trek itself is challenging but well worth it. The altitude is not to be underestimated, and the terrain is very challenging. It is not a gradual climb on the way up, and a steady descent on the way down. There are points where you need to descend to the bottom of a valley to cross a river, then climb back up again. So there are steep climbs going both ways! However, the views of Everest are amazing and you’ll get a really sense of achievement from reaching Base Camp.
I was also surprised how much is included in this package, compared to what other companies are offering. You get all airport transfers, full board while trekking (you pick one menu option and one tea/coffee per meal off the menu at each teahouse), and a welcome dinner. And there is no deposit and I believe you can cancel up to 24 hours before if required. Overall this is excellent value for money.
I recently completed a trek to Everest Base camp with Trekking planner. Was supposed to do the high passes but fell ill with slight altitude sickness but I still managed to get to Gokyo though to see the lakes. Dipak did a great job organising everything. My guide Suraj and porter Anish were great. They took care of me when I wasn't well and adjusted the itinerary accordingly. Had a great experience! The mountains and the views are truly magical. Highly recommend booking a tour/trek with Dipak and his team
I had no idea how hard this trek would be for me mentally and emotionally. I am physically fit from the cascade mountains, but living out of a bag in group life, crowded trails and teahouses with folks one doesn't know is hard for an introvert used to lots of alone time. Our guides, Nirmal and Roshan, made sure I was OK. Nirmal had lots of jokes, games and cultural sayings to keep our group going. He has endless enthusiasm, energy and an incredibly patient and kind spirit. When we didn't want to eat he made sure we ate anyway. When we wanted to cry he made us laugh. I had to descend at from Loboche due to AMS and Nirmal made sure Roshan took me to a quiet lodge. These guides are top-notch, the best you will find in Nepal, or perhaps anywhere in the world. I am indebted to our porters as well for their hard work. Please consider Trekking planner and Nirmal in particular if you want to see Nepal on foot.
We just finished an amazing trek to Everest Base Camp! We were also supposed to go to Gokyo Lakes, but I unfortunately got altitude sickness and needed to descend early. Sudip helped me carry my pack when I couldn’t carry it myself, and took excellent care of me when I was feeling well. He helped us figure out a new itinerary for our remaining days and taught us a lot of Nepali words and even some new dance moves. Even though our trip didn’t go exactly as hoped, we still had so much fun on our trek. I am sad to be leaving Nepal and hope I can come back for another trek with Trekking Planner and Sudip soon!
We had a great time! Our guide was Sudip and he is wonderful. We felt so happy and safe and learned so much from him. Nepal is an amazing place. We will be back!
We were also with another guide Nirmal who is also wonderful and so funny. He even stayed in contact with my dad on the trip. Above and beyond
10/10 would definitely recommend Trekking Planner! The entire experience was top notch. My daughter and I were taken care of so well by Dipak and his team from the moment we landed in Kathmandu. He was able to arrange an extra day of sight seeing for us and fielded all of our pre-trek questions and concerns without batting an eye.
We completed the Manaslu Circuit trek (14 days) with our guide Sandip and porter Suraj. Sandip was so knowledgeable and attentive. He was able to balance my 26 year old daughters fast pace while ensuring I was taken care of especially at high altitude over the pass and provided us with not only a safe, but cultural, experience as well. Suraj was very kind and checked in on us often. While some porters rushed ahead he stayed with us ensuring one of us did not get too far ahead or drop too far behind.
Overall we would definitely use Trekking Planner the next time we decide to adventure into the Himalayas and will be recommending them to friends!
Thank you again!
Tim and Sam
We were recommended by Friends to go with trekking planner, and it couldn't have been any better.
Suman our guide made the trek extremely enjoyable and fun. We felt safe and comfortable during the trek; and his service and respect to us was impeccable. Suman's in depth knowledge of the region made the experience even better.
We recommend trekking planner to any and everyone!
13 days on the trail with Gyeljan , our guide and Pradip and Gumbo (porters). Despite lousy weather it was a great adventure. Made it to 6100m only to be turned back by thigh deep snow. Thankyou to our excellent support team, lots of laughs and good fun along the way. To Dipak and everyone at Nepal Trekking Planner thankyou for your excellent care and attention to detail. I recommend these guys 100%
Ok... How can i explain... I wait for two years for do this trekking, nepal trekking planner do mi dreams in reality. They pick me up in the airport, they offer a private tour in the city, and amazing trekking, massage after the trekking... The hotel was amazing... Everything was more than incredible! The give me more than my expectation...
My guide in the trekking was Nirmal, and he was awesome! More than a guide he was a friend, he all the time take care of me, he explained everything... He all the time was really servicial, super fun, and kind. He makes the trekking super fun... And after the trekking we enjoyed in katmandu also!
My porter was ambrit, he all the time was so nice, helpful and kind with me..
And Dipak thw owner was kind, pacient and helpful with everything...!
Thanks for the adventure... Hope to see you soon!!!
We had a great trip with Geyljan as our guide and our 2 porters Pradip and Gombu. Unfortunately the weather was against us, but Deepak and the other staff were great to be around. Lots of banter which is what you want on a climbing trip!
Would recommend to any of my friends and family. Thanks again guys, will hopefully be back soon!
We actually planned to go to Everest base camp (trekking & yoga). Due to the weather and cancelled flights for two days Dipak (Manager of trekking planner) helped us to find an alternative. New plan: Annapurna base camp. Dipak arranged everything over night for us.
Dipak did everything to make our journey to the time of our life. Thank you!
The sightseeing tour in Kathmandu organised by Dipak was very interesting and the guide very polite, helpful and good educated.
Anil, our guide and yoga teacher during the trek was very helpful and showed us the beautiful landscape and tiny hidden wonders of Nepal. He is the best guide you can imagine. Thank you so much!
First, when I was planning to do a trekking in Nepal, and I look online for recommended trekking agencies. Then it brought me to Trekking Planner website.
I directly contact them via email and I didn't know if it was directly straight to the owner (Mr. Dipak)
His respond is very quick, and he gave me a very detailed answer regarding of my designation. He also gave me options how I'm gonna do the trek and explain the ups and downs for each certain destinations. He even ask if I already got the pick up transportation from airport to my hotel and offering me if I still hasn't arrange one.
The day on my arrival in Kathmandu, Trekking Planner team pick us up in my hotel. Two amazing young man (Mr. Praj and Mr. Suman) treat us like a VIP.
They both help us to guide where and what to do in city.
They even willing to spend their free time to help us with lots of stuff. (from buying phone card, helping us check in in airport, to escorting us back and forth to airports)
I was traveling with 2 friends for the trek to Poon hill, and because we didn't have more days to visit, we choose 4 days (inc. going there and coming back to Kathmandu) where normally people would need at least 5 days.
The person who guiding us is Mr. Ananta.
I'd say he's one of the most patient man that I've ever met since he help us and wait for almost countless hours for me and my friends.
His role almost like our Mom. Because he wake us up and take a good care of us while we were up there. He also speak English very well.
The accommodation that Trekking Planner arrange for us is also the best one. They chose the nicest lodge for their customers.
For the trip itself, I recommend people who wants to visit Poon hill, took at least 5 days and do it not at the end of raining seasons.
The area has so many nice local food and beers.
The local people are SOOOOO NICE and very welcoming. I've meet with lots of new friends, and people who thought me not to be lazy.
The scenery also good (as in my points of view)
Overall Trekking Planner management are amazing, well-coordinated, they provide a very good service to their customer, polite and experienced at the same time. And if I'm coming back to Nepal, I know which trekking agency that I should contact.
P.S: Thank you so much Trekking Planner team. And see you soon!
Just writing a review as I know how important it is for the team, did the trek and was well looked after by everyone in the team and had a great time, the only downside were the clouds but I can only blame my own karma for that! My guide was Nirmal and he was great. Very charismatic and funny, he takes great pride in his work and I wish him all the best in the future!
This trip was in 4 days. We chose it because it's the easiest trekking based on the recommendation of Deepak. We're 3 people in group with 1 guide (Anantha) and 1 porter (Pije).
Flight at 9 am from Kathmandu to Pokhara by small plane, only 30 minutes flight. Arrived at Pokhara, picked up by Anantha and get a car (Hyundai Atoz). Trip to first point in Tekhadunga village in 2 hours (incl. 2 administrations check in point). Bumpy road with scenery of Pokhara city and hills.
We arrived at 12 PM In first point, Tekhadunga, Pije our porter was waiting there. Then, we start the trekking, passed the village and market there. It's just like 30 minutes trek to our lunch point nearby the bridge at 12.30ish. Their Masala tea is really great! We're waiting for about 45 minutes until lunch is ready.
At 14.00ish, we started to trek to Gandaki, our first stop at that day. Trek was easy, because it's a road, although it's an "off-road" for a car. Hence, only jeep that can pass the road. After we pass the road way, we're walking a valley with paddy field and river view. Then, we climb a steep stairs to get our first lodge.
The lodge is decent, small rooms with 3 beds with blankets, wifi, good food and hot showers. We took a dinner and get breakfast by tomorrow
Anantha said second day is a hard day, because the trek is climb a steep (endless) stairs then we enter the forest. After breakfast at 8 AM, at 9 AM we started to walk again. We passed the village first and passed 3 bridges.
After the 3rd bridge, it's the beginning of the "endless" stairs. It's quite hard for us as an amateur trekker. Maybe we took 3,5 hours climb the "endless" stairs to get our lunch point at Ulleri village. The restaurant and lodge with scenery mountain view.
After lunch, we go up again to Ghore Pani. Just couples of minutes after we started, it's raining. It's quite cold because we're at 2200 meters above the sea level. We passed the beautiful forest with couples of rest stop. Because, our stamina is depleted after we climb the "endless" stairs.
We arrived at Ghore Pani lodge around 6.30 PM. It's already dark and really cold there. Because our clothes was wet, the altitude in Ghore Pani at 2800 meters above the sea level. The lodge is nice because, there's a heater in the leaving room. We got hot shower, wifi and good food as well.
Should be wake up at 5 AM to get Poonhill with 2 hours trek. But, in reality we woke up at 7 AM and go to Poonhill. We started to go to next village with 25 minutes walk. In here, we can see the mountains, but since it's 7.30ish AM, it's already cloudy there.
We go up to Poonhill, even Ananta already said that probably it's cloudy up there. Since, our destination is Poonhill, even though it's cloudy, we decided to go up. It's full of stairs to get there. And there's steep stairs, quite long and really it's exhausting. The final stairs, we get the view with full of flowers and cloudy. Poonhill it's 3200 meters above the sea level.
Then we back again to our lodge to get brunch. Then we trekking down to our first lodge in first day. We started at 11.30 AM. The route was same with before. We get to the lodge after 6 hours trekking include with lunch at Ulleri.
We stayed at different lodge than first day. Lodge still nice, have hot showers, wifi and good food as well.
We go to Thekadunga as our entry point by jeep. It cost with 6000 Nepal Rupee. It's excluded with our package plan. It's just 45 minutes ride. Then we go to Pokhara with same car in first day. At 15.30 we flight to Kathmandu. Ananta accompanied us to Airport.
Trekking Planner Review
He's really nice, informative and consultative. Plan was well planned.
Prajwal (Operation Manager) & Suman (Guide)
They picked up us at the first day to go to Trekking Planner's office. Also, Praj that picked up from and to the airport. They accompanied us to see around Thamel (area of our hotel). They are really nice, frinedly and really helpful!
He's really patient. I mean, he's like know our stamina from the beginning, heads up about the trek and the condition. He always have couples of plan if the trek it's not going well. One of my friend has not good stamina and Ananta accompanied him, even it's really slow. At the second day, he and my friend got to Ghore Pani at 7.30 PM. Also, in the 4th day, my leg was injury, it's really hurt to step down the stairs. He made a stick from bamboo for me. And it's really helped. I don't know what will be happened to us if Ananta was not there.
He's always smile, energetic and really helpful. Although his english is not good, but we still understand what he means. He always wait for me if i was get behind. His stamina is unbeatable. Even he carried our bags and i bet it's really heavy, his walking pace is consistent.
Trekking Planner is taking care of us really well. All well planned, informative, consultative and really helpful! And, their service include with drop off us to airport. You can count on them. If i want to go to Nepal again, i will contact them!
We did this Trek in April 2019. Overall experience is very positive. We enjoyed Himalayan mountains and the culture.
Our group was quite small - 4 people which was good because small groups are more flexible compared to large one.
We had a very good relationship with the tour guide. He was very friendly and always talked a lot about the culture and life in Nepal.
I am considering to come back next year and book again with the company.
We had a great trek with Trekking Planner and with our guide Suman. From the moment we got picked up by our guide from the airport to the moment we left Nepal (3 weeks after we finished our trek) we felt like we had constant support from trekking planner. Dipak (team leader) was very helpful and made the whole process very smooth and easy through his (and his teams) hard work.
Obviously a Nepalese run guiding company is going to be different from a western guiding company but for a locally run operation is was fantastic!
We ended up doing a modified version of the three passes loop (making it a few days shorter and missing the first pass because of illness) which they accommodated well including changing flights last minute.
Our guide Suman did a very good job and we would recommend him. He spoke great English and was very kind and helped us easily get through every potential obstacle that came up. My partner has food allergies and he would communicate those with the kitchen to modified dishes to ensure she was provided with food she could safely eat. Suman, though being young, was very confident and capable and we felt very safe in his hands. He knew the trail and surrounding area very well (including every peak and elevation) and what he was talking about!
We decided to do this trek guided because it was our first time visiting and trekking in Nepal and we were unsure what to expect including safety and logistics of trekking in Nepal. It provided us with the confidence to travel in Nepal and complete other treks unguided ( which is more our preferred style of travel)
We look back fondly on our trip with Trekking Planner and would recommend them to anyone who wants a stress free trekking holiday! Thank you to the whole Trekking Planner team :)
Adventure of a Lifetime with your new Nepali friends!
I cannot praise Nepal Trekking Planner enough! My husband and I trekked with NTP this past April and had the time of our lives. I looked at countless different tour companies over the course of 2 years, but NTP was the only company who (1) consistently kept in contact with me, (2) provided me with thorough updates, and (3) were eager to host us in Nepal. Being local to Kathmandu, it was nice to work with a locally based company who knows the area so well and can tailor a trip to meet your needs.
We flew to Kathmandu and began our trek the following day. As there can often be issues with the domestic flights in Nepal, Dipak, owner of NTP, went above and beyond to get us on a plane and out to the Khumbu. We are so grateful for his assistance on that! We flew out to Lukla and met our guide, Gyeljan, our porter, Nawang, and even the other guide, Suman. All three were beyond incredible. I would only ever recommend working with these three. They were all attentive to our needs, making sure we were acclimatizing well and comfortable everywhere we went. My husband got a little sick on the ascension to Namche, but thanks to Gyeljan and his recommendations (garlic soup, lemon ginger tea, and a shower), he was as good as new. Gyeljan was the best guide we could have ever hoped for. His knowledge of the area was completely on a different level. He was so natural in the mountains and made us feel at home on the other side of the world. Nawang, our porter, was so kind and wonderful to work with. We can’t recommend them enough!
Suman was also great, though he was not our primary guide. We stayed at teahouses with him and his client’s porter and truly came to love him. Suman is a ball of energy and very positive. He was great to work with and a real treat on the trek.
He can certainly make you laugh as well!
Another thing I would like to praise NTP for is assisting with some tour costs malfunctions. As we sent a wire to NTP for the tour, the wire was not received correctly in time for our trek, so my husband and I had to pay for the tours again essentially. We were out several thousands of dollar, some of it in limbo, not sure where it was. BUT NTP was absolutely extraordinary. With the help of Dipak, we were able to find the missing funds and have them sent back to us in a timely manner. We are beyond grateful for his help and making sure our missing money was returned to us. I don’t know how often you come across such honest and hard-working individuals, but we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
If you are interested in going to Nepal, trekking, sightseeing, or challenging yourself to get to the Mount Everest Base Camp – then go with Nepal Trekking Planner. I thought this trip was a once-in-a-lifetime sort of thing, but based off my experience with NTP, I hope to soon go back and do more treks with them. Thank you again, NTP!
I had one of the best trekking experience, every day was memorable. The guiders were all amazing. Thank you, trekking planner and entire team.
One of the most organized & reliable trek agency in the business . Amazing service from the staffs & guides throughout the trek .
This is a must go trek for all mountain lovers & hikers out there , felt like a different world with the mountains , scenic beauties , the beautiful landscapes & the panoramic view of the mountains , the religions , cultures , lifestyles coexisting & creating a wonderful & adventurous environment . The people were happy & helpful there .
The food is absolutely delicious & drinks are organic & help reduce body ache & tiredness from hiking
Aside from shopping around, if you arrive in Namche Bazaar during the weekend, you might catch the Sherpa Market where locals from surrounding villages come and trade local goods. Apart from this, we also recommend going to Liquid Bar where they project daily movie screenings as well as checking out the many coffee shops around Namche.
Altitude sickness, also known as AMS (Acute Mountain Syndrome) is one of the major challenges that most trekkers face. In fact, throughout our trek, every day, we would see at least 2-3 helicopter evacuations from people who needed immediate care. Symptoms of AMS: Dizziness, fatigue, loss of appetite, headaches, difficulty sleeping, vomiting. The only real cure for altitude sickness is to go lower, giving your body time to adjust and recover.
The incredible scenery, the people we met along the way, and the challenge of conquering the cold and the trails is something that we will always remember. Brought together by a love for travel and adventure, throughout our trek, we saw a variety of people from all walks of life try out their luck as they conquer one of the most iconic and beautiful treks in the world.
While on top of Everest,I looked across the valley towards the great peak Makalu and mentally worked out a route about how it could be climbed. It showed me that even though i was standing on top of the world, it wasn’t the end of everything.I was still looking beyond to other interesting challenges..It was the memorising moment of my life..
I recommend Trekking Planner for every visitors, the guides are super friendly and the itinerary is great. Thank you Trekking Planner.
I would highly recommend Trekking Planning for the Everest Base Camp Short Trek. From the time I landed in Kathmandu to my departure flight back to the USA, I was completely "hand held" for my entire excursion. Dipak was with me or had a staff member take care of my needs. I was never left alone to wonder what was coming next! The trip itinerary was complete. And since I had an extra day in Kathmandu before my trek, I was able to pay a reasonable amount of money for a city tour that was complete and very informative. When it was time for me to depart to Lukla, I had complete supervision until I got on the flight which made me feel extremely comfortable. The trek to Base Camp was rather difficult, however my guide and porter took very good care of me throughout the trek. Often I needed some extra help and they were both there to escort and hold onto to me during the technical, difficult sections of the trail. I had some minor issues during the trek, but again, I was reassured by the guide and porter that I would be taken care of. When my flight was severely delayed in leaving Lukla, my guide (Gyelijan) came back to the airport to get me and stay with me for the next 3 days till I was able to secure another form of transportation out of Lukla. I can tell you that just about every other trekker saw their guide just leave them in the airport to fend for themselves! I was so grateful for Gyelijan to take care of my needs during this delay. When I did finally leave Lukla and arrive in Kathmandu, Dipak was waiting for me in the Kathmandu airport with the taxi to take me back to the Skyline Hotel. The other trekkers had to scramble for transportation. I was able to spend a few hours in the hotel before my night flight to USA and once again, Dipak arranged for a taxi to take me to the airport. I would recommend this trek as just about everything is included which makes it a "no brainer" for the client. I did want to worry about paying for lodges, food, airfare, permit fees on the trek and so it was taken care of by the guide.
I am really happy to say it’s an interesting post to read.
I learn new information from your article. Great job. Keep it up!!
Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek
My second trekking experience with Mr. Dipak Lamichhane of Trekkingplanner, all promises are always maintained and if any problems occur they are promptly solved. I highly recommend Dipak and his stafff for their courtesy and professionalism! Attempted Mera peak 6,476 m but reached 6,260 m and had to quite due to very bad weather, but very satisfied of the experience and my Amazing guide Gyeljan Sherpa who did the impossible to try to get me to the top!!!
My search for a local company with great service and the competitive total cost that would offer customized private trekking trip led me to Trekking Planner. I have been to Nepal before and have good experience with another company that I used - but, I wanted to up my expectations. I have been, as of today, very pleased with Dipak (the company owner) throughout my planning process. So I now have booked my trekking trip for the two of us (myself and my wife), which goes from mid-October to mid-November. I am expecting a great trip... I will follow up with my update once I come back from my adventure.
I did the 'Slow and easy' trek at the Annapurna region with trekking planner, and can confidently say that it was the best experience of my life. I was a bit concerned as a female (not particularly fit) solo traveller, but everything was made so comfortable and effortless by Dipak and his team I almost couldn't believe it. They were waiting for me when I got to the airport and efficiently organised transport and every little detail. They adapted the trip for me, so I could fit a stay in a monastery and the yoga classes which were not originally included in the itinerary. Dipak is really responsive and accommodating, always making sure I had everything I needed for the trip. The yoga classes were amazing, and guides and porters all were really reliable, helpful and kind. I felt safe and spoiled at all times. I highly recommend Trekking planner for their experience and knowledge of the territory, but also for their human qualities. You couldn't be in better hands! Namaste!
Where to begin. This was the best trip I’ve ever been on in my life. Everest Base Camp is quite difficult at times but the views easily distract you from the difficulty of walking. We chose the 15 day hiking + yoga trek with Trekking Planner.
I could not recommended Nepal Trekking Planner enough. Dipak (who is the brains behind everything) was incredible from start to finish and made the trek run incredibly smoothly (he even made being stuck in Lukla okay!!). Our guide Anil was so knowledgeable about everything we were passing and was a beautiful yoga teacher. He allowed us to stay at our own pace and stop off in so many beautiful places.
I don’t have any experience with other companies, but I do know now that Trekking Planner is class act from start to finish. Dipak also threw in nights in a beautiful hotel, a tour of Kathmandu and a much needed massage after the trek.
Overall - book with Trekking Planner. They made this experience as breathtaking and easy as possible.
In May we did the Upper Mustang trek organized by the Trekking Planner company.
From the very beginning the communication was just great. Mr. Dipak was very helpful and responsive - we knew everything is taken care of.
The trekking itself is sometimes hard due to the conditions (weather, dust, road) but on the other side you will see pristine, conserved area of Tibet with traditional villages, people dressed in traditional costumes, with all the customs... it's just amazing to see this lively museum! Go there until it's all gone!
During the trekking we were accompanied by a great guide Anantha and a porter Bean. Thanks to them, the experience was even more memorable.
All in all, we really enjoyed the trekking! And the TP team - you did a great job!
We have just returned from Nepal and a truly unforgettable trek to Everest base camp. My friend Dipak, owner of Trekking Planner was amazing and I recommend his company to anyone who is considering doing this trip. Everything promised was delivered and even when all planes were grounded on day one he made a plan to get us back on schedule, sometimes it's who you know and Dipak knows everyone. Loved the entire experience ans will definitely go back one day.
As a group of 3, we hiked the Manaslu circuit using Trekking Planner and had a great experience. Deepak was very professional and accommodating, arranging our permits and logistics for us ahead of time. Our guide, Sandeep, was always kind and up for the adventure. He was a wonderful addition to our "team" for the 12 days. Thank you Trekking Planner!
I trekked to Everest base camp with trekking planner a month ago and they made sure that I had an experience of a lifetime. Right from the start, Dipak made the booking process extremely easy and promptly answered all my questions regarding packing and trek. They also took care of all logistics in Kathmandu and arranged a day tour with a well-informed guide. Sudip from trekking planer was an excellent host and took me to a wonderful cultural show.
On the trek, I was helped by Suman Dhakal and Geylu Sherpa. They both were well informed about the nuances of the trek and also of history and culture of people living in the mountains. Above all, they both were super-friendly and in just one day it started to feel like I was hiking with buddies rather than with a tour company. Fourteen days of the trek was an absolute blast with them. I highly recommend trekking with them if they are available. They also took care of safety on the trek and were well equipped to handle medical issues. They were also flexible with trek schedule and found the best places to stay on the trek.
I highly recommend trekking planner for Everest base camp and other treks in Nepal region. And many thanks to Suman and Geylu for such a wonderful company on the trek
Hint: europ assisitance 'world sport'.
I just got back from my 16 day package with Trekking Planner, doing a trek to Gokyo Valley and Renjo La Pass. Dipak and his team did everything to make this a great and super special trip for me, for which I am very thankful. The hotel and sightseeing tour in Kathmandu were very nice and a good start into my vacation. Despite general difficulties with the flights to Lukla, Trekking Planner managed to get me on a helicopter flight for a reasonable price so I could start my trek in time. My guide Suraj was wonderful - fun, knowledgable, and very responsible - and made my experience most memorable. He also paid a lot of attention to my wellbeing in the altitude and the agenda was well balanced so that we would not ascend too quickly. Thus, I felt great throughout the whole trek and enjoyed it very much. Thank you Trekking Planner, I will be back!
I recently trekked to Everest Base Camp with them and they did a phenomenal job of organizing all the details so we could enjoy the adventure! Our guides were Nirmal and Sudip and I highly recommend requesting them if you can! They not only looked after our physical safety, they cracked jokes, taught us about each place and the local culture, and kept morale high on the trek up. I left feeling like I had new friends in them! We visited during the construction at the Kathmandu airport as well, which confounded flights to and from Lukla. They were so flexible in helping us arrange for helicopters and so on. They went above and beyond in every way and I recommend them to anyone heading to Nepal!
We booked our custom Everest Base Camp trip at very short notice. We chose Nepal Trekking Planner based on the good reviews, and the extremely prompt responses I received to my initial queries.
We weren't disappointed. From the moment we arrived we were exceptionally well looked after. The owner, Dipak, doesn't leave anything to chance, and he made sure we knew what to expect every step of the way. We felt in very safe hands.
Our guide and porter were great, and the trip was everything we hoped it would be. I would definitely recommend Nepal Trekking Planner.
We did the Everest Base Camp trek in April 2019 together with a safari in Chitwan National Park when we returned from trekking. The holiday exceeded expectations from start to finish. Dipak met us at the start and was a constant feature throughout. He was great, very quick to respond and an excellent organiser. The trek was fabulous (no issues whatsoever) and the safari was luxury! Dipak organised hotels in Kathmandu in between which were also of excellent quality. We have nothing bad to say. Excellent trip.
A memorable experience trekking from Nayapul to Ghorenpani Poon Hill to Ghandruk . Guide cum porter Suman was helpful, friendly and patient to let us spend some time to take photos He even helped to cook at a remote cafe so that we could get to eat our lunch fast. He was also fun singing and dancing to make the gruelling trek seems less daunting. He also managed our expectations by giving us heads up on the expected hours and varied terrain thru mossy forests', bright red and pink rhododendron trees. Most stunning was the view of snow capped Annapurna peaks . Yoga was conducted by patient soft spoken Dipak who was always accompanying my friend who needed more rest breaks during the trek .
Food quality was very good as it was not oily and not overly choked with seasoning.. i esp luv their veg fried rice which usually comes in a big heap. The hot honey ginger lemon drink was energising and refreshing. Accommodation was clean and hot showers are available either FOC or for a a small token of rupees. Trekking Planner Dipak was friendly and responsive to my booking queries and flexible with the itinerary to suit our needs. He took efforts to meet us when we arrived as well as to see us off at the hotel.
A truly amazing yoga trekking experience!
We have just returned home to Zimbabwe from our Everest Base Camp trek arranged by Dipak the owner of Trekking Planner. What an amazing experience! The weather is very unpredictable in Nepal and sometimes plans need to be adjusted. Dipak organized a helicopter and rearranged return flight with the minimum of fuss and inconvenience. Our guide Ananta was excellent and did a great job of getting us to Base Camp and back. We were all out of our comfort zone but he looked after us superbly and made our trip an adventure of a lifetime. I highly recommend Dipak and Trekking Planner for their attention to detail and personal service. Really nice people to deal with.
We did the 16 Day - EBC/Gorkyo Ri Trek and it was an amazing experience. Our guide, Suman, was knowledgeable, energetic and just a great guy to be around. We were a bit nervous about the altitude (since we never been anywhere close to 5600m before), but Suman checked on us frequently and advised us not to skip our acclimation day when we were feeling confident and wanted to include the Renjo-La Pass. Food/accommodation was also as great.
The organizer, Dipak, was very accommodating with our stay in Kathmandu and helped us with our travels to Pokhara, afterwards. He answered all our questions and also managed to get us the option of a flight or helicopter out of Kathmandu Airport, during a time when flights are rare due to construction.
If you have a question the organizer will answer them very fast. Before and after the trip they made sure we had nice trip. The pickup service was without fault and as discribed.
The trip itself was very nice. The accomondations were as discribed and better.
Make sure you stay healthy during trip because every kind of sickness enhances the altitude sickness.
Overall: I highly recommend doing the trip with trekking planner.
I had such an incredible experience with Trekking Planner. I booked in advanced and Dipak was very quick to respond to all of my emails and answer any queries that I had prior to arrival. The trek itself was a fantastic experience with incredible views and our guide Suman was happy, energetic and shared a lot of knowledge about Nepal and the mountains with us. I would definitely recommend to anyone considering trekking in Nepal.
My wife and I did the Everest Base camp short trip in April, 2019. What a great trip! I say this despite the fact that on several key times we had to go to plan B due to weather conditions, etc. First of all, from the very beginning Dipak, the leader of Trekking Planner showed real attention to detail and in promptly answering all of our Qs. All the expectations from the brochure were not only met but we felt were exceeded. Starting with a several hour delay getting thru the airport in Kathmandu, their team was still there to take us our hotel which trekking had arranged-not 5 star but quite nice and centrally located in the city and trekking cultural take off point. Due to construction at the airport (and poor weather) we were given the option of getting to the trekking take off point (Lukla) by helicopter. We opted for this knowing it would add another $600/pp roundtrip but would keep us on schedule. The conditions were so bad that the copter landed about 45 minutes from Lukla but the Trekking Planner guide and porter did find their way and away we went. From then on it was the 2 of us plus the guide, Dhirendra and the porter. What a great team! It is doubtful Dhirendra doesn't know everyone in the tea house cuiture all the way to the top! He proved resourceful and personally quite helpful (helped my wife navigated suspension bridges and at time even took my own day pack to help me make it along the way.). At another point when the tea houses of one location were totally filled he took is a little further and we ended up with a place with a hot shower! To top it off he was very personable and joy to be around which considering how long you are together is so important. Due to physical reasons we needed a helicopter evacuation at the last point. Trekking Planner was able to arrange that as well. On the practical side given the unknowns being able to flex financially is important on this trip. In addition, we took along cold medicine and anti-diarreah meds both of which came in handy. Also be prepared physically. I joked with our guide that there must not be a word in the Nepali language for "swithch-back". So much seemed to be at a 45 degree angel straight up. Still, the beauty of the surrounding did more to take your breath away. Since we were off the trek a couple of days early, Dipak was able to suggest several tours including a couple day visit to the Chitwan national park to view rhinos, elephants, etc. Overall, in addition to doing great on what was stated in the broacher, they were quite good at arranging other tours and even throwing in the unexpected (massage at the end!). Very easy to work with and great attention to detail. Highly recommended.
I went to Nepal in April and all my trip was organized by Trekking Planner. They answered all my questions immediately before the trip and provided very useful information. When I got to Kathmandu, Trekking Planner was waiting me at the airport and the staff was very kind. I had ten days trekking in Annapurna. My guide, Ramesh was very experienced. He was very kind and positive during the whole trekking that gave me so much energy and made my trip a lifetime experience. I would highly recommend him as a guide for any trek. Everything was very well organized!
Dipak (our organizer) is an experienced, proactive, detail-oriented professional. He helped me significantly with a short 3 day trip to Annapurna (with both the drive to Pokhara and the flight back). Most importantly, he helped me organize the entire 12 day trip to base camp Mt. Everest, with an excellent guide, and with very authentic accommodations. At my return, the hotel where I stayed misplaced my luggage (a truly difficult experience). Dipak went an extra mile, and stayed with me for nearly entire day, until my luggage was eventually found.
bon programme, tres bien organise.
I have evaluated several agencies before I choose Trekking Planner and my decisions was definitely the best!
Mr. Dipak is great organiser and answered many of my mails and questions promptly, friendly and in all necessary details. The price for the trip was reasonable and one of the
Best as well as all conditions of the contract.
I made the trip by myself and was very happy with Trekking Planner. Everything was great organized from the picking up on the airport until my return from Lukla.
My Guide Suman made my trip in the mountains safe, funny, comfortable, memorable and supported me always when I needed. I could hard imagine better Buddy for the trip. I was impressed how he professionally and friendly deals with other people, how good he knows the region and conditions in the mountains. He was also able to change the route as the weather was not on our side so I could visit all desired places safely and enjoy the whole trip. I could relied on him along the whole way and in all situations.
The Porter was also great and tried to help me as much as possible. I could also honestly say that we didn’t meet on our trek similar so good organized team.
Dipak and Suman asked me several times for the feedback about trip and service so they could make my experience even better. This was very professional.
The hotel in Kathmandu is also cozy, well furnished, has great Wifi and roof terrace and staff is very friendly and ready to help in all cases + breakfast is great!
I am sure this was not my last time in Nepal and I would book the trip with Trekking Planner again without any doubts!
Highly recommend for solo travelers and groups!

Went to Nepal in Feb. 2019, the trip was extremely well organized and full of activities, well arranged by mr Dipak and his team... 6days well spent and a very enjoyable experience.... Looking forward to another trip to nepal soon and wont plan it with anyone else other than mr dipak at trekking planner. Hats off to these guys. Keep up the good work.
I had a wonderful experience from start to finish with Trekking Planner. Dipak answered all of my many questions prior to the trek thoroughly and professionally. My guide and porter were experienced, positive, and a joy to have around! I’ll be back for a longer trek as soon as I can. And I’d recommend Ramesh as a guide to anyone interested in a short or long trek! He is extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, and kind. Thank you for a great five days, Trekking Planner!
We managed to contact Mr. Dipak of Trekking Planner. He arranged everything from our arrival, hotel accomodations, drivers and tours in Chitwan, pokkhara and kathmandu. Drivers are very nice, hotels are cozy and good. Costs for everything was worth it.
My wife and I went with Trekking Planner for our Everest Base Camp trek. If you’re thinking about trekking in Nepal, you can’t go wrong with Trekking Planner. Fantastic company!
Even before we went, making contact was quick and easy. Dipak, the boss, contacted us via email and WhatsApp; which allowed us to chat freely at any time. He was very responsive to any queries, which made planning the trip much easier (e.g. what would happen on the ground in Nepal, what we needed or didn’t need, etc). He also personally met with us each day we were in Kathmandu to ensure any needs were met. All trekking planner staff were friendly and helpful and one of them, Suman, helped us out with getting final supplies, groceries, SIM card, etc around town.
On the trek, our guide, Ananta, was awesome; knowledgeable about the route and himself passionate about trekking. He was not interested in simply paying lip service and more invested in making sure we had a safe and maximally fulfilling experience. He listened to what we wanted to get out of the trip and was very honest about what was or wasn’t possible according to weather and our own pace.
In the end, he managed to get two city dwellers with average fitness, zero experience of high altitude, and zero training... in the middle of winter, through snowstorm and high winds... all the way to Everest Base Camp and back! Along the way, we had laughs, breathtaking moments of natural beauty, and even learned how to sing a Nepali song.
Special mention to our porter who took the initiative to double back and look for us once when the snow and wind got real bad, and then stuck with us to ensure our safety. (Porters often don’t travel alongside small groups, and will push on ahead so they get to the next location first and have your stuff waiting for you).
Highly recommend these guys for any trekking journey or little tours around Nepal, not just for EBC. We also had a couple of days in Chitwan for a fun safari. Our Kathmandu day tour guide, Sudendra, was also particularly good and made the city’s cultural tourist attractions really come to life.
As a real special treat, we even got invited to one of Nepal’s “Party Palaces” for a celebration for Dipak’s own son and daughter. That was a fantastic way to glimpse some real local custom and culture!
In future, we may return to Nepal to try a different trekking route; and if we do, we will definitely be contacting Dipak and Ananta again.
I had the time of my life in the Himalayas and the yoga EBC trek is the best thing I’ve ever done! Sure, it’s cold in January but with proper gear I had no problems. Trekking planner is a great company. Dipak was very quick in his replied and he managed everything when I got to Kathmandu. The trek was amazing, me and my yoga teacher/guide Anil practically walked alone the whole time. There were no crowds! Anil is an amazing person, and a great teacher. He made me feel safe and he took such good care of me. Trekking Planner gets my highest recommendation, and I will definitely arrange my next trek in August with them.
As soon as I landed trekking planner met me and took me to the hotel they booked for me. Every part of my trip was brilliantly organized from the pre trekking meal to the safari in Chitwan. Trekking planner organized everything at a great price and made my trip to Nepal unforgettable. We were unfortunate not to make it to EBC due to bad weather which can’t be helped but my trip was still worth it as they altered my trek back getting to visit different towns and enjoy the incredible views of the Himalayas.
Big Thankyou to trekking planner for making my Nepal trip and for a great start to my solo travels.
Last October, I used Trekking Planner Nepal to organize my trek from Kanchenjunga to Makalu Basecamp over the Lumba Sumba pass. I had such a great time that I booked another trek with Trekking Planner, walking from Tsum Valley, around Manasalu to the villages of Nar and Phu. This was a really big trip for me, before leaving for Nepal, I spent a lot of time researching and emailing many different trekking companies. Out of the companies I reached out to, the owner Dipak offered me the best price, and the best customer service, promptly and patiently taking the time to answer my numerous emails . In Kathmandu, Dipak couldn't have been nicer, he picked me up at the airport, took me out to dinner, organized all my permits and logistics and provided me with a great trekking crew. He's the guy you want to organize your trek in Nepal. My guide for both treks was Dhirendra Kharka, and he was awesome. He's a great choice as a guide, especially if you want to trek somewhere off the beaten path. We spent almost 60 days in the mountains together on a couple of long, challenging treks. He was great company, as well as being extremely skilled and competent in the mountains. I would recommend Trekking Planner to anyone interested in trekking in Nepal. I am attempting to section hike the Great Himalaya trail and I am planning on working with both Dipak and Dhirendra when I return to Nepal.
I have recently completed the trek to Everest Base Camp and am very happy to recommend Trekking Planner for the great job they did. Thank you Dipack for your help with planning our trek. Your communication with regards to our trip was great from the moment we started planning from here in Australia. The guide you organized for us, Ghaljen was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for him! He was there with us every step of the way making sure everything was ok. Ghaljen's English was great and he was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the environment we were in. He has a great sense of humor which was much appreciated along the way! Ghaljen went above and beyond his role as a guide. We also had a fabulous porter Gilou who also went above and beyond his role of carrying our gear. All round everything went smoothly for the trek due to the fine attention to detail form the staff at Trekking Planner.
I would highly recommend anyone going to Nepal to use Trekking Planner. They are very professional and everything was flawless from the contact with staff, to airport transfers, to the trek and our return. We used them for a 12 day EBC tour and also a trip to Chitwan National Park afterwards.
I did a seven days Poon Hill trek and, even if I was scared about cold and difficulty of the walk, all was absolutely perfect. Suman Dhakal, my guide, is a great professional and a wonderful person who took care of me and every Moment, and Deepak (the organizer), organised all perfectly in order to get the best experience of this wonderful country. The country is awesome and its people is the best. I would definitely come again to view the heavenly beauty of this country and i m going to choose this agency for exceptional planning who has experienced and explorable team like Suman dhakal and Deepak(the organizer) himself.
I pleasely recommend Trekking Planner for explorable and exceptional trek who has an experienced team. And thanks for Deepak making my holiday more beautiful than i expected by providing me such sort of tallented and desciplined guide.
Una muy buena experiencia, excelentes profesionales tanto Deepak, el boss, como Suman, el guía; flexibles, buenos conocedores de la zona y magníficas personas. Recomendable sin ninguna duda.
Seamless logistics and organization. Experienced guide able to facilitate flexibility in program (all made it).
Very reasonable price.
Extremely grateful with Trekking Planner, Kudos to Dipak & his team especially to Mr Anil who was very patience and accommodating, he became more like a friend rather than a guide to us. Despite my conditions, Mr Anil was very encouraging and very professional. Truly enjoyed my trip with them, and hope we can do it again!
What an experience. I booked this solo, and had many concerns when I started (about the cold, about being vegan and a solo female traveller) and Dipak(organiser), Anil (yogi) and Ram (guide) where unbelieveably kind and provided for my every need. They are some of the kindest people I have met and really genuinely care for you. When I arrived, 6 days early for the trek, Dipak helped me to organise a mini trip to Pokhara to go paraglising and a sunrise tour of Sarangkot which was breathtaking (althought very cold!) and the taxi-driver we liked so much we hired him for the day to take us to various locations. (I met another girl who i travelled with). Chitwan was the enxt stop and that was fabulous too, although probabaly not the best time of hte year to go, we did not see that much, but it was still a real nice break from Kathmandu and amazing drive through valleys. As for the yoga trek itself I thought that it was excellent. It is 70 to 80 percent about trekking, and the yoga we did every morning and night. The issue was it was like minus 20 degrees so actually doing the yoga was unpleasantly cold. So if you are doing this trek to get better at yoga, i think that it is more about trekking. However i knew it would be cold booking and I don't regret anything. From tengboche onwards, we did breathing excercises instead of yoga and at altititude I found this benefical. I would recommend travellers to book early dec, late nov not late dec just because of the cold and also make the most of off-season prices. The group was just the 4 of us, originally 5 but one turned back due to the cold and personal reasons. Our sherpa guide Ram was AMAZING and not only walked one girl namche to lukla, but then returned tot he group walking over 50k in one day and he cared for us so much on the trip and was really good fun. The tea houses on the whole were good, the best was tengboche Trekking lodge as it was cosy, but you don't sleep well in the alitude and cold. Food is all vegetarian (trust me once you see the steaks hacked and carried you don't want to eat meat) so my vegan needs were well covered. dal bhat 24 hour power! I would recommend that if you go at the same time of year as me (21 dec to 4th jan) you start the day hiking WHEN THE SUN COMES UP. before it is honestly miserable. But this trek was one of the best things I have ever done and i thank all our sherpas, guides, yogi-Anil and Dipak for such a wonderful well put together trip. I met great friends and had a wonderful time. Oh and the complimentary massage at the end- AMAZING THANK YOU! Would 100% book again, next time ANNAPURNA!
I did two treks with trekking planner and they were great! I ended up getting sick on my second trek and they called my insurance and took care of my changes in accommodation, my updated flight back, and everything! I would highly recommend them for additional peace of mind!
Four of us booked a 10 days EBC trekking tour with Trekking Planner. We booked very late and had quite specific requests. Dipak, the owner of the company, did everything he could to accommodate us. the entire arrangement was smooth and well planned. Even when the flight was cancelled due to the local weather and we had to switch to Heli, Dipak was able to find a local guide and porters for us at the last minute request. and we loved our guide and porters. We remain friends via facebook!
When you travel aboard for activities like this, reliability of your tour company is the key! and Trekking Planner is nothing short of that. Thank you Trekking Planner and Dipak for our wonderful experience.
From the very first moment walking into the Trekking Planner office, we felt very comfortable and knew that we’d made a good choice. Dipak sat with us and we discussed what we had intended to arrange. He was very knowledgeable due to his extensive experience guiding all over Nepal. We were doing this as part of a world trip, so due to our long term travelling, and not wanting to take unneeded items, Dipak kindly allowed us to leave our excess baggage in the office for safekeeping.
We planned to do the Manaslu circuit and link up to the Annapurna circuit directly after. The plan was recommended to do the Tsum valley on the Manaslu trek to assist in acclimatisation prior to attempting the high passes. It was a fantastic recommendation as was far less busy than other sections and the scenery was magnificent from the top of the valley. We arranged to have our guide with us for the Manaslu trek (18 days) and then when we finished and prepared to leave from Dharapani for the Annapurna, we planned to continue on our own.
Our guide, Ramesh, met us at the office on the morning we left for the beginning of the trek. Ramesh was such an awesome young guide. Always cheerful, smiling and singing along the way, he was very knowledgeable on the mountain ranges and always happy to answer any questions we had. Having spent some time trekking the Tsum valley before attempting the the Larke Pass (5106m) definitely helped with our acclimatisation. The company takes this all very seriously as we were one of the few groups that had their guide monitoring the oxygen absorption and pulse of an evening to ensure we were in good physical condition to continue higher the next day.
We arranged to have the accomodation and food as a package and it worked very well for us. There wasn’t any issues with limiting food options from the menu, as we’d heard some other guides had imposed. Our food and drink orders were made well within reason, though we had some allowances made for us on occasion. Everything was very well organised and explained what the trekking plan would be for the following day.
Even though we had planned for Ramesh to return to Kathmandu as we continued on our own, he was ever helpful in giving us some fantastic information and assisting us before we parted. He has a lot of experience in his years of guiding and it was such a pleasure having him along with us, that we intend on having him guide us again when we return to Nepal to do some more trekking in the future.
Based on our personal experience, and the reviews of many other satisfied clients, we would highly recommend Dipak at Trekking Planner, and also Ramesh to guide you, to assist you in tailoring your trekking requirements in Nepal.
We had a great time on our trek. Everything was well planned. Our guide Gyeljan and porter Ngawang was really sweet and did an excellent job. They were super funny so even the hardest part of the trek felt alright.
I warmly recommend everyone this company and especially these guys.
Thank you so much.
Very good trek, Dipak ,gelyen and the crew is amazing ! would recommend this trek to anybody that wants adventure .
I was travelling solo and seeked a unique experience. After browsing a couple of options, I chose the Everest Base Camp, Chola Pass and Gokyo Lakes Yoga Trek with Trekking Planner.
Looking back, I am glad I made this decision. It turned out to be one of the most memorable trips I have had to date.
Dipak was helpful and communicated well in the emails we exchanged, addressing my queries patiently.
Eventually there was some miscommunication and I had to fly out of Kathmandu to Lukla the very next morning instead of the following morning. I took it in my stride as I was after an adventure wasn’t I? Nothing shall dampen my spirits!
My guide cum yoga teacher is Anil. He was knowledgeable and attentive to my needs, guiding me to breathtaking views throughout the trek. I especially enjoyed every yoga session with him. We did not do what the usual yoga classes in studios did. We went deeper into yoga, beyond the stretches and poses, into self realization.
Anish was the assistant guide and he played a wonderful supporting role to Anil, always keeping a lookout and even carrying extra loads to help tiring trekkers.
By the way, they both spoke good english which is important as we’re spending pretty much 12 hours or more daily together. So communication was clear and meaningful.
I have to give a shoutout to my 16 year old porter, Ganesh. So young yet so strong and agile. Without him, I probably wouldn’t have completed my trek. Truly a “Bahadur”!
The trek was full of awe inspiring moments. If I had to choose, these are the 3 main highlights for me:
1. That sense of achievement and triumph when I reached Everest Base Camp together with my newfound buddies.
2. Putting on my spare socks over my trekking boots and precariously crossing the glacier atop Chola Pass.
3. Staring at the spellbinding turquoise waters of Gokyo Lakes as a sense of peace and wonderment washed through me.
I would also like to commend Dipak for getting me a replacement Sitar Air flight within an hour when my original flight with Summit Air from Lukla to Kathmandu got cancelled.
The day tour was also enjoyable as I explored famous sights in Kathmandu and enjoyed some local cuisine. And I was recommended places to buy my trekking gear and souvenirs by some of Dipak’s staff.
I am looking forward to my next trek with Trekking Planner. This time likely with some friends and partners :)
I went on a solo journey for the Everest Base Camp trek on first week of November and decided to join a small group as it was my first time on trekking. I was grateful for Dipak, owner at Trekking Planners, as he had made arrangements according to the requests I made from the email. The response was smooth and quick, no matter the time difference in the country I'm in, he made certain that everything is planned when I arrive. Anil and Anish were great guides who we were with us on the course of our trek. They ensured that we were on track, followed through the course and enjoy during the trek at the same time. I was slow-paced as the altitude increased and they were both considerate of my well-being, even pursuing to move forward was tough as I ran out of breath, still, they looked after me well. We were given good advise on the best food to eat in the mountains to avoid any discomforts while we proceed on our trek. Good and comfortable accommodations were provided. I was close to not having reached the EBC as I had AMS but they helped me out to recover, the following day, I felt better and moved ahead! We became good friends along the way. Overall, my goal of getting to EBC was the best moment and celebrated with my newfound friends who were with me on this journey! As my journey ended, flights unexpectedly cancelled the last day I was about to fly due to bad weather. As I needed to fly back urgently, it was impossible on that very day. I'm grateful for Anish as he went his way all throughout assisting me and ensured to get me on the flight the next day. I got on a chopper, got safely in Kathmandu and Dipak picked me up from the airport and got a great hotel to comfortably settle in for the day. He also offered to treat me to Momos, a Nepali dish dumpling, and it tasted great! All the trip was a memorable one and I would like to give thanks to Dipak, Anil and Anish for all the hardwork and great planning in order for me to have a memorable journey to the Everest Base Camp and a safe trip back home!
I did the Manaslu Circuit, with Tsum Valley as an extension off the main trek, from October 8th to October 28th. I had an amazing time and can highly recommend Dipak and his team.
My guide was Ananta - and he was just awesome. When I got sick with an upper respiratory condition, he offered to carry my backpack for me - which was not part of the deal. I specifically did not request a porter as I'm an experienced and fit hiker. My plan got derailed and Ananta stepped in to save the day.
Dipak was attentive and extremely responsive during my planning process.
The only suggestion that I would make is to expect a long and tiring trip to the start of the trek. Dipak put me on the public bus to Soti Khola, and it was a full day, eleven hour adventure on a cliff high above the Buri Gandaki River. In hindsight, had I been more informed, I would have requested a jeep from Dipak, which, while just as bumpy a ride, would probably have been much shorter.
Apart from the bus ride, this was an incredible adventure. I will certainly use Dipak and Ananta if I go back to Nepal in the future.
I’ve just come back from an amazing trek organized by Trekking Planner. I was in a party of seven all the intention of reaching Everest base camp.
Dipak, the owner, and Nirmal, our guide, looked after us and organized the food and accommodation and Nirmal made sure we all coped with the increasing altitude en route.
All we had to do was enjoy the views and concentrate on walking.
Thank you again for a once-in-a-lifetime amazing adventure.
What an amazing trekking experience with Trekking Planner!!!. Great team leader, great guide and great porters. Dipak, a very responsible team leader who always well plan and think what is the best way to his clients so that his clients will be able fully enjoy the trekking trip. Anil, our trekking guide who is responsible, informative and funny personnel. He has been taking care of us very well for this whole trek. Thanks to him, we really have a very wonderful trekking experience
Thank you TP for arranging such an amazing trip. TP was very responsive from the 1st day we enquired about the trek. From the day we confirmed and until the day we depart to Nepal, TP was able to give us all information that we need for our preparation and answer all our questions satisfactorily. During the trek, our guide, Anil monitor of our health condition regularly, do his best to ensure we have comfortable stay in all the lodges and go beyond to ensure we are back to Kathmandu safely. For the level of services provided, package offered by TP are reasonable and value for money. Definitely continue to engage TP for my future trekking in Nepal.
Communications with Dipak before and during my Nepal visit was prompt and informative, no enquiries dismissed even the small ones. He follows through once in the country, as well as being available.
My trip was a 'slow and easy Everest' which reaches 3,800m for those not wanting to complete the full Everest run. I was a solo, senior female traveler and my guide Lhapka and porter Pemba were two pleasant and personable young men. I found the estimated walking time per day to be a fair estimate, having reached daily destinations well within the indicated walking time frame, even though I would have appeared to be slow, in particular on inclines at 3,800.
Accommodation for the area is pretty standard, but one in particular I think could have been improved on (namely Khumjung). Namche had the best (access to hot, contained shower).
One destination was not reached, Tengboche due to a couple of factors.
One, not securing accommodation in advance, even with a major Monastery celebration. The second, being my decision not to attempt the long ascent from Phunki Thanga to Tengboche to then turn around the next day and retrace part of the trail finishing with another ascent to Namche.
This resulted in being one day ahead of the itinerary, giving an extra day in Lukla which was way too long.
Having said all this I have no hesitation in recommending Nepal Trekking Planner and Dipak for his dedication and professional approach in providing a trustworthy service.
What a fantastic trip! Great trek, great porters, fantastic guides. Nirmal and Suman looked after us really well and made the trip memorable! Deepak over looked everything and I couldn’t recommend them enough!
My sister's partner Martin booked TP and we weren't disappointed. From being greeted at the airport then Dipak briefing at our Kathmandu hotel every single avenue was covered right down to the provision of 'bulky stuff' ie kit bag, down jacket & sleeping bag. Our guide Dorje was absolutely brilliant himself having reached the summit of Everest three times! His knowledge was invaluable from booking tea houses to obtaining National Park permits. Our young porter Budda ... how do they carry all that stuff!!?? Thanks Dipak for fulfilling one of life's dreams ... at 63 I think that may be my last 'great climb' and it helped raise £2500 for a local Hospice. Great value for money as well ... would definitely recommend Trekking Planner, Steve Waltho MBE
We were a couple that just finished the Gokyo trip. The experience was amazing, and Trekking Planner (Dipak, our guide Bhanu, and all others that helped) did a great job. My girlfriend was worried by altitude sickness, and we had a slow and steady trek, and in the end, we both managed to "climb" to the 5360 m high Gokyo Ri!
We are extremely grateful to Trekking Planner for this experience. The weather was amazing (I really recommend going in mid October), and so were the views of course! The culture, nature, food and overall exercise you will do on this trek are amazing.
Moreover, after Namche Bazar, it becomes much less crowded (due to the fact, that hundreds go to see Everest Base Camp), and we really wanted to avoid the crowds. The Gokyo valley is peaceful, serene, and offers breathtaking views on Cho Oyu throughout the trek, and on Sagarmatha (Everest) on several occasions (basically, every time you "climb" a bit higher).
What I would like to emphasize is, that everything went extremely smooth - we noticed a lot of other groups/couples/individuals, that were stuck either on Kathmandu or Lukla airports, due to delays in flights, or flights just not happening at all (not uncommon in Nepal). Dipak and his team however did all they could, and brought us to the Everest area and back on the planned dates. I think this is where they stand out - making your trip a care free experience.
Together with that, Dipak and his team make everything to make you feel appreciated - from the warm welcome with Marigolds at the Kathmandu airport, to the farewell golden shawls you receive as a token of good luck.
Thank you Dipak for making this incredible trek in the far east of Nepal happen. Very nice and helpful crew, though our guide may improve is English skills a bit. But all in all a wonderful experience, looking forward to come back!
Thank you Trekking Planner for planning one of the best holiday I’ve ever had. Thank you and your team for looking after us from the moment you picked us up from the airport. You have gone above and beyond to provide a top service and to meet our demanding needs. And thank you for helping us pick litter on the way down from Base Camp!
I don’t tend to go back to the same place twice but I had such an amazing time that I will be coming back and do it all again... but next time for the Everest Marathon and I will definitely be arranging it with you again!
Dipak and his team made sure I had an incredible time and took the stress out of all the planning!! I arrived in Nepal with no plans and they organized the Poon Hill/Ghorepani trek for me with no hassles and organized other activities too. Dipak answered every question and ensured I was always satisfied. I had a homestay with his family who were also justas caring and genuine as he was! I would highly recommend this company, you won’t find better people that are more willing to please!
Dipak put together a wonderfully varied 12 day holiday including cultural visits, Nepalese cookery class, evening live entertainment as well as the fabulous 6 day Poon Hill trek. The guide was very amusing and informative, the porters very charming and helpful and the yoga guide both instructive and inspirational leading the yoga sessions at dawn and sunset.
The trek itself was magnificent and the 4_am dawn panorama of the sun rising over the Himalayas was unforgettable.
Dipak helped us solve all sorts of problems from lost luggage in transit to a broken phone and printing our travel papers. He invited us into his own home for an additional cookery lesson plus gave us lots of useful advice and tips.
I would definitely recommend Nepal Trekking Planner most highly and I will most certainly be returning to try out another trek with them.
Huge shout out to Nepal Trekking planner who we recently trekked with to ABC. Dipak was very helpful, efficient and patient with all my questions and arranged the trip tailoring it to suit our needs. Our guide Ramesh and porters Milan and Niroj were such beautiful and helpful people and we loved every minute we spent with them. This trip had a very special meaning to myself and husband and son and this was very much respected by our guide and porters. I would highly recommend this company. Thanks for making it happen guys.
What a experience!! Thank you Dipak for the perfect organisation of this trip! From the moment i entered Kathmandu until the moment i flew back home, everything was arranged down to the last detail!!
Dipak and his team were terrific in making sure this was a beautiful and memorable trip from start to finish.
Bad weather meant the original plan to go to Lukla had to be changed and Dipak was brilliant in quickly providing alternative options to ensure the trip was still fantastic.
I would definitely recommend Dipak and do hope to travel with him again to this stunning country.
Thanks again Dipak!
This trekking was well organized, Amazing mountains. And Dibass was a great guide, always caring about my condition and satisfaction!
Wonderful experience !!!
This is my feedback as the organizer of the Everest Base Camp Trek for our group.
After speaking to a number of trek company’s, one stood out, Trekking Planner.
From the beginning, the owner Dipak Lamichhane was very helpful, and answered all my questions and addressed any concerns fully.
From the time we were picked up from the airport to the time we were dropped off, our group was treated like we were part of the family.
Due to the weather, our flight was cancelled to Luckla airport and even helicopters were not able to take us up.
On the third day, when our flight was cancelled again I spoke to Dipak about alternatives and within an hour he had organised a jeep to take us up to Solari from where we could trek up to Everest Base camp the long way around , thereby avoiding flying in to Luckla airport.
This meant reorganising our scheduled completely form the route we was taking to the places we were going to stay during the trek which allowed us to get to EBC.
“Dipak, from the day we arrived you have looked after and we never had to worry about anything.
We knew that the trek was going to be difficult and with your support we were able to achieve our ambitions.
Thank you from our team and more importantly a personal thank you from me.”
As somebody who responded to the Nepal earthquake in 2015, been up Kilimanjaro twice, I would have no hesitation of recommending Trekking Planner Nepal as the company of choice for your visit to Nepal and Dipak Lamichhane for his personal and honest service provided.
I was there with my daughter. This is once in a lifetime experience feeds us spiritually and physically. Although the trekking from Lukla to the basecamp was extremely challenging it turned to an eager and unforgettable adventure thanks to the great team. The owner of the Trekking Planner Deepak helped us in every single way. We were always in contact with him whenever we need. Our Yoga teacher and the guide Anil was perfect. We were 2 ladies in the middle of the mountains but thanks to him we felt very safe and comfortable. Plus, our Sherpa Pasang was very very helpful to make us feel good and confident. Million thanks to the great team to make this dream comes true in a great way.
Didn't have enough time hence this trip was not to EBC - half way to Tengboche.
Please note that you need to be physical fit and with decent stamina in order to do any trek in Nepal and the walking sticks is very impt. (the agency will be able to provide you)Good Shoes and thick socks(to protect the nails) .
Went during off peak season - there are pro and cons
Pros: Dont need to fight for toilets / not crowded / peaceful.
Cons: everything is closed / evening rains - during trek fortunately no rain.
Overall Trekking Planner is good.
Dipak was helpful. the Yogi Cum Guide(Anil) was great and the porter Pasang..he is amazing too.
Yoga before Trek - it it rather refreshing, you get a good stretch before you start the day.
Get fit before your trek.
I booked EBC and Kala Patthar trek with Trekking Planner in May/June 2018. Initially the date I wanted to go wasn't available on their site, but when I contacted them they opened up a date that I wanted.
It is a small company, I found them to be honest and upfront. I did not feel at any time that they were trying to upsell me anything.
They picked me up from the airport when I arrived and then I opted to visit some major landmarks in Kathmandu as I had arrived a day before my actual trek.
Unfortunately, the weather was inclement for flights from Kathmandu to Lukla. I spent pretty much the whole day at the Kathmandu airport but the flight never took off. There were people waiting to take the flight from two days prior to me. Next day the same issue, weather was bad. However, later in the afternoon the owner of the company was able to manage to fly me out to Lukla in a chopper which was nice.
The guide was a young person in his mid twenties and so was the porter. Guide was fun and responsive to my needs, however I felt the porter needed a little more training and wasn't quite as responsive to your requests.
Since, I had already lost a day and I didn't have any buffer day I wanted to finish my trek couple of days earlier to build a buffer to fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla.
We skipped a destination on our way up and continued to the next destination. It caused me a bit of an altitude sickness. The guide was on his toes and was constantly monitoring my oxygen levels in blood. Next day my oxygen level came back to normal and we were able to complete the trek. On our way back we hiked straight from the EBC to Namche Bazar and save a day.
Sure enough, I got stuck in Lukla one more day because of the bad weather, like many other. But the following day the owner was able to manage for a chopper for me, believe me not there were a lot of desperate people to fly out of Lukla but not everyone was able to fly back like me, immediately.
I highly recommend this company.
The staff and owner is courteous and they seem to have good network with airline and chopper companies.
Everyone should experience everest base camp trek at least once time in their life. Such a great life experience. I learned so much about Nepal and also about myself during this trip. Being in the nature and being challenged by the nature makes you realize things that you are not able to understand in the city life. I was scared at first but now I am feeling grateful that I have experience everest base camp trek. It is a very serious way and Trekking Planner was the best decision to trek with. The team was great. Team supported and helped us in every case. I am so grateful to Trekking Planner team. They are the best. Dipak was always very helpful to us. He returned back to us in very short time whenever we had questions. He is a very responsible person. We felt really safe by having his support. His team is really good as well. They are there for you all the time.
Thank you Trekking Planner!
We are just wrapping up 12 days in Nepal all arranged by Dipak from Trekking Planner. Highlight was 5 day Gorepani Poon Hill trek which although booked as standard departure was just for my wife and. Throughout our stay I have been very impressed by the thoroughness of arrangements and quality or services provided and all at a very low price. Special mention to our trekking guide Dhirendra and porter Aitaram who were great at their jobs and fun to be with. For anyone contemplating a visit to Nepal contact Dipak at trekking planner and let him put it together, you will not be disappointed.
Everything. Everything was run so smoothly from day 1 to the end. Dipak and the team go above and beyond. They really care about you having a good time. They look after their clients really well. My guide Nirmal was outstanding and my yoga teacher Anil was looking after us with care like family every step of the way. They accommodate well to your individual needs and give you the space you need if you need it. They are cool people, too. They are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They stick to their word, they're honest, relaxed, confident and fun. This has got to be the best trekking company in Nepal.
Wonderful team, I felt really well taken care of from start to finish. Every day of the trek was more breathtaking than the last. Trekking in February meant beautiful weather with every morning clear and sunny. It was chilly, but I felt warm when walking, and stoves burned in the tea houses for a few hours morning and evening. Buying boiled water helped me to stay healthy on the trek while keeping my sleeping bag toasty at night. Our guide Nirmal was wonderful, experienced and a lot of fun. With his guidance and the support of our yoga teacher Anil, I felt strong and healthy throughout the trek, and never faced any issues with altitude. The majestic Himalayas provided an ideal backdrop for our yoga sessions, and trekking to EBC was a wonderful opportunity to do some soul searching- accessing much needed peace, restoring balance and connecting with my body. Fresh hot vegetarian meals with tea (and the odd snickers...) felt very luxurious and were delicious and nutritious. Along with our guides, we were in good company throughout the trek with warm and resilient locals, adventurous and inspiring fellow trekkers, the hard working yaks and ponies and the scores of friendly puppies everywhere! The route itself was manageable for someone in generally good health. I booked last minute, and didn't train for for trek at all. The distance covered and altitude are the main to be things of. I was careful to stay well hydrated and avoided alcohol, meat and caffeine during the trek.
Summit is not the final goal, but doing yoga trekking to EBC is the best choice I've ever made.
Although it's raining season, once reach certain height. May see the top of mountains with luck.
It's a ritual journey followed with friendships you would never expected and trust you would never doubt.
Don't use your personal expectations to judge the nature, and you will love this trip as much as I do
Dipak is an amazing host in Nepal. From the greeting at the airport to sending me off to the next adventure-everything was perfect. Anil is an excellent guide and yoga instructor. His priority is your safety and having a wonderful, spiritual trek. This team is top notch and highly recommended. Other agencies do not offer monsoon season treks to EBC and this is a shame. Summer is an incredible time to trek to Everest Base Camp-no lines and a chance to connect with the few trekkers on the trail. A life changing experience not to be missed!
I undertook the Everest panorama trek, as a solo traveler I was a little apprehensive, but my guide Anil was more like a friend for the entire journey.
The company looked after me so well and I had a wonderful experience.
Thanks to Dipak and the team
My husband and I had an amazing but super challenging trip to Nepal. Dipak in Kathmandu, and Ganesh, our guide on the mountain, looked after us well, despite lost luggage, missed and delayed flights, my husband having mountain sickness (and being flown back to Kathmandu, then back up to Pheriche to recover until we met him on the way down).
In Nepal, you soon learn that things don't necessarily go to plan, and there are often lots of unknowns, but if you have faith, eventually things tend to turn out ok.
Our yoga instructor and guide, Rinchen, was the absolute star of the show - he was honestly the nicest person I've ever met, a very inspiring yogi, one of the fittest people on the mountain, and went out of his way constantly to help us, the locals, other groups, and really anybody he came across.
Whilst separated from my husband, the whole team made us both feel well looked after and safe. It was challenging, but I loved the trek to EBC and all the amazing people we met on the way.
When we finally made it back to Kathmandu (after 2 days of delayed flights from Lukla), we had a really nice room in the hotel, and went out for a lovely meal with Dipak ... it would have been really nice to start the trip with this too, as our first night in Nepal included a very strange experience in a traditional restaurant, with a guide who spoke no English, and left us feeling confused.
We did a shorter 11 day trek, which seemed a bit too quick and I genuinely think my husband would have had a better experience if we had taken more time. Heading back down in 3 days was really tough for all of us, especially our guide, Ganesh, who caught a cold/flu, and really wasn't fit enough for the trek.
Dipak from Nepal Trekking planner truly went out of his way to ensure that our trip was perfect from start to finish, arranging everything from the hotel we stayed in and a tour of some areas in Kathmandu, to a fantastic guide and incredible all round experience through the Himalayas to Everest Base Camp. Dipak and Narayan the trekking guide both are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and skilled at what they do, the experience and service is unparalleled and I really hope to be visiting and using their services again as they made my trip truly special and memorable.
Trekking Planner Nepal had been researched by my friend prior to booking our visit to Kathmandu for our Everest Base Camp Trek in May 2016. The reviews were all very good; however, the proof of the pudding is as they say ‘in the eating’; well, the whole experience was made special by the attention to detail, personal service and a genuine desire by all to make our trip an experience which was memorable and as hassle free as possible. Dipak the owner of Trekking Planner was there personally to meet us at the airport and had made all the arrangements for the hotel and also brought us to our privately booked hotel at the end of our trek for the extra days we were spending in Kathmandu to ‘Chill’ and he even collected us from there to bring us to the airport for our departure. Our Guide Ganesh along with our other parties Guide Narayan were very friendly, experienced, and their intimate knowledge of the the scenery, culture and history ensured a rich and rewarding experience that made you so appreciate the natural wonders and beauty of Nepal which makes me want to return yet again. So, I have ‘eaten the excellent pudding’ and can highly recommend to you -Trekking Planner Nepal with a heart and a half.
We arranged the trek to Everest Base Camp with Nepal Trekking Planner and had an amazing trip! Dipak from Nepal Trekking Planner took care of everything. We were met from the airport, taken to hotel for rest then shown around the city by an interesting English speaking guide. We were given an authentic Nepalese meal which was fun too! The touring of Kathmandu was really appreciated and we could not have explored the city without them. Driving in Nepal is insane - but we always felt safe with the drivers they supplied.
Then the real fun began! We were introduced in advance to our mountain guide who met us early to drive to the airport to fly to Lukla. As it is a small plane every seat is a window seat. The guide recommended the left side to see the mountains and so we all had incredible views of the Himalayas on the way up. We had a smooth flight with clear skies up to the mountains.
In Lukla the guide had already arranged a porter to meet us and carry our bags. While the three in our group all had experience hiking... we were VERY glad we had a porter once we got higher up!! He was amazing - carrying our things ahead of us everyday so that it was in our rooms before we arrived after each days trek. All the Nepalese people were friendly and happy to see visitors. The guide we had was really helpful to pace us and keep us hydrated! He even pulled out snacks for us which was unexpected :)
Higher up some of our group got diarrhea and altitude headaches. We were taken care of so well by the guide! Who gave us hydration salts and checked on us regularly when feeling bad. We ended up taking an extra rest day on the way up by his recommendation which was no problem.
Nepal Trekking Planner are very flexible with your holiday and make it clear that they can change the plans to suit individual needs etc along the way.
Because of the guides great care of us we all made it to Everest Base Camp after 8 days in the mountains. We left early that day and to our surprise we were the first ones to arrive that day! For 30 minutes we had the entire Everest Base Camp to enjoy to ourselves!! It was beautiful being surrounded by such mountains and glaciers. Definitely worth visiting if you can!
One member of our group hadn't eaten great on the way up, and actually got worse after we got to Everest Base Camp. The guide was fantastic taking care of him and quickly found out our insurance details and contacted them and a helicopter company along with Dipak back in Kathmandu. We did not need to contact anyone. And a helicopter met us the next morning to take us all the way back to Kathmandu. From there we were taken to the international hospital where we were taken great care of and recovered in hours! Dipak was there and took us back to the hotel once we could leave. He took care of everything and the insurance were happy to pay, with just a small excess. (We used World Nomads).
Back in the city early Nepal Trekking Planner ensured we had the hotel booked for all our nights and took care of us while in Kathmandu! They even helped us arrange to go white-water-rafting on our last day :) which we did with our guide which was a fun way to end the trip! We also had another meal with Dipak and the guide as a farewell sendoff.
Nepal Trekking Planner were fantastic in arranging our trip to Nepal. We would have been lost without them. We had an amazing time visiting and exploring Kathmandu, the trek from Lukla to Everest Base Camp, and a white water rafting trip a few hours drive from Kathmandu. No matter what happens during your visit Nepal Trekking Planner will take good care of you and ensure you have a great time!
I cannot recommend them enough and I will definitely be using them again next time I visit Nepal.
Fantastic!!!! We had a Great Honeymoon with Trekking Planner taking us up to Everest base camp.
Dipak was great got us everything we needed and arranged everything for us, Couldn't have asked for a greater Guy.
Narayan, Our Guide was second to none, He knew the mountains and was very informative what a great guy to hang out with Lakpa our Porter, What a worker, I have never seen someone go up a mountain so fast This trip was the most memorable trip I have been on and I recommend it to everyone!!!!
On returning home from my trip to Everest, people ask me "how was it?". I always pause and think: "where do I start? The beautiful forests, the wonderful sounds of yak bells, the things I learnt from my guide...?" . There was so much awesomeness, it's very difficult to convey what happened in the two and a bit weeks I had with Trekking Planner.
A good start is Trekking Planner's organization and friendliness. From the very first contact I made with Dipak there was a good tailoring of the trek to our needs. All matters were well explained and no stone left unturned in Trekking Planner's organization. The adjustment of the holiday to our needs was constant throughout, with our guide (Dibash) was able to change our programmed throughout the trek to adapt to all our wishes. He and Dipak acted in a caring and friendly manner throughout the trip.
At one point I became ill near the Base Camp, Dibash took excellent care of me in a calm manner ensuring I reached my goal safely. I am extremely appreciative of this mature and high-efficacy treatment.
The accommodation was excellent the whole way up the mountain, the food and drinks options were good (and very filling - I now have a new found love for Dal Baht and yak meat!) and there was plenty of opportunity to meet other travelers and have interesting convivial conversation. Our guide, Dibash, became both a friend as well as our guide :) He was extremely knowledgeable about the environment, enlightening us on our trek on stupas, mountain eights, Tibetan culture, and plants. Truly a Renaissance man of the Himalayas!
I heartily recommend anyone considering a trip the Himalayas find these guys to get the most memorable experiences out of your time!
The whole Everest basecamp trek experience was fantastic. From Dipak picking us up at Kathmandu airport to dropping us off. It is just a great experience, one I’ll treasure. It's very difficult to describe how the two and a bit weeks trek. The hotel stay in Kathmandu was good. We stayed at Hotel Pilgrims. It was clean amd the staff were all lovely. The breakfast was also of high standard.
Trekking Planner's organization, professionalism and friendliness made all the difference to our trip. We didn’t have to worry about the EIMS or any transfers, all was arranged and on time. Both Dipak the company owner and Dibash our guide were caring and friendly and made us feel very welcome.
The accommodation was good the whole way up the mountain, the food and drinks options of various different teas were good. I’d recommend the Dal Baht to anyone and the Chow Mein or noodles. Dibash, became friend as well as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and fun. He made sure we knew exactly what the next day entailed and was always on hand should we need him. We spent most night playing games and cards.
I would certainly recommend anyone considering a trip the Himalayas to contact Trekking Planners and speak to them about your requirements. We are already looking at visiting Nepal again and will be using Trekking Planners.
We had a Great holiday with Trekking Planner our trek was Everest base camp.
Dipak was great couldn’t do enough for us, Dibash, Our Guide was great, He knew his stuff and was very informative what a great guy to hang out with.
Our Porters were also great lads very friendly and worked hard to. I will never forget this trip and I’m sure I will be back to do another soon.
Fantastic from start to finish.
Very happy we chose Trekking planner to organize our trip to Everest Base Camp. The whole trip was adjusted to our needs. We had our own guide and felt actually sorry for huge groups we met, because we didn't have to adjust to anyone else. Always got the best rooms - we had our own toilet where others had to share, we had view of mountains while others didn't. Our guide was amazing a helped us with whatever we needed. Definitely would recommend to everyone and hopefully will get to go with Trekking planner to do Annapurna circuit in couple years!
Our group of four had a great time on our Everest Base Camp Trek through Trekking Planner. Despite some unexpected bad weather at the start of our trip, Dipak's team was constantly adapting to find new solutions for us to make sure we still made it to base camp before our flights home. Once we did make it to the beginning of the trek in Lukla, we really appreciated the flexibility that our guide Nirmal had in how to tailor the trek to our shorter timeframe. I wouldn't say doing a 12-day trek in 9 days was easy, but the team from Trekking Planner did everything in their power to make it as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Great accommodations and food along the entire way and a stellar guide and team of porters, I'd highly recommend this trekking company.
Overall a very good trip. Lots of guidance from the company. Trekking Planner gave us a very extrovert and good English speaking guide, although still quite young in behaviour sometimes (e.g. often on phone). We were lucky to trek in offseason as we always had a very good room in teahouses and a very quiet hiking path. We definitely enjoyed these 10 days of trekking!
Dipak from Trekking planner organized a most magical experience for me in the Manaslu Tsum Valley trek. It is always incumbent on yourself to be physically fit and mentally tough to do some of these challenging treks, but it sure helps to have a great trekking company to make sure things goes as smooth as possible. Dipak owner of Trekking Planners treated me with respect and total honesty in all of our dealings. My guide Janu was of excellent character and skill. The entire team was professional and caring.
We arrived in Kathmandu after having previously emailed Trekking planners to get an idea of itinerary and cost. The response was fast and very detailed so we went and visited Deepak once we were in Nepal. His organization was amazing and he booked us in and sorted everything within one day.
The price was very reasonable and included a guide, porter, all food, tea, accommodation, transfers, sleeping bags, poles and a duffel bag.
We could call trekking planners at anytime and they were so reliable and helpful, even at the airport Deepak has organized someone who worked there to help us check in and get to the gate.
Along the trek we were provided with fruit and Deepak had pre purchased and sent with us, the accommodation was always very good and we were even given hot towels after a day of walking!
The guide that Deepak organized for us was very helpful, knowledgeable and spoke fantastic English. He got us through the three passes very well and gave us good tips about taking Diamox, walking slowly, covering our heats to prevent headaches and drinking lots of water. He never rushed us and always went at our pace.
Along the way our guide Puri Sherpa also helped other travelers climb over boulders and showed them the way, he even let a solo trekker join us for two days (which we were ok with) and helped him with booking accommodation and get across a pass.
He organized crampons for us and always helped us down tricky parts of the trek. He was also very knowledgeable about the Himalayan range and could tell us all of the mountain names, height and if they have been summited.
Trekking planners also let us store all of our luggage in Kathmandu, helped us with accommodation bookings and booked all of our busses across Nepal. Deepak even got up at 5am to meet us and walk us to the bus station!
Thank you so much trekking planners, you make our experience so comfortable, easy and wonderful.
Would highly recommend !
I have just finished an absolutely amazing trek with Nirmal and Binod in the Annapurna region last week. During the whole journey they looked after me very well and were super fun companions to have around - everyday we shared lots of laughter and stories, just like as if I was trekking with two good friends. They took the effort to teach me sing Nepali songs, as well as lots of useful words because I was eager to improve my knowledge of the language/local culture. Thanks to Dipak and the whole team for organising this wonderful trip and delivering an unforgettable experience that I would always cherish.
Dear Trekking Planer,
my dad and me had a really good time while our base camp trip. Everthink was perfect!
The organization of the company trekking planer Nepal was excellent. Dipak the boss of the company is such a friendly and good guy. You can feel that he likes the best for all of his customers that they can enjoy there trip.
Our guide , Gayljen, was a really professional guide. He has a lot of know how about the economic and the culture of Nepal. He did a great job and we were really lucky to be with him, thank you for that good time bro !
We wish your company the best. Hope we will see us again.
I could sit here and write for hours about the amazing time I had with Dipak and his team but Nepal is truly something that has to be experienced for yourself. Buy the ticket, enjoy the ride.
Dipak was thoughtful and customer-orient from the onset. He advised on training plan, schedule customisations, and gear/equipment in very quick email comms. Suneel, the guide on the EBC climb, was supportive and consistently looked after welfare. He was the perfect balance of caution, competition, and challenge. I thoroughly enjoyed climbing and descending with him as companion (alongside the hundred yaks).
PERSONAL CHALLENGE CHECKED WITH TREKKING PLANNER
It's was a personal challenge. Wasn't confident we can ascend Everest Base Camp. So we need an experienced and a trusted tour planner to help us.
Mr. Deepak, Owner of Trekking Planner, was the difference. His team is really knowledgeable and helpful - guiding us with useful tips and sharing with us the rich Nepalese history along the climb. Mr. Deepak checked in on our progress frequently.
Trekking Planner made the difference! We made it to Everest Base Camp successful - it was lesser tougher than we anticipated :)
Thanks Mr. Deepak and Trekking Planner. for the memorable and wonderful experience.
An excellent team which is knowledgeable and experience with Nepal trekking. Mr. Deepak, Owner of Trekking Planner, is a great host who cares for his guests.
Dipak was very responsive to my emails and organised things really well. He provided me with a very good guide - Dhirendra. To anybody considering going to Manaslu please go to Tsum valley too - it was wonderful. Spent 2 days at Mu Gompa and the views from the end of the valley were amazing. Thanks again Dipak
I was doing my Himalayan trek alone as a female. Dipak was super considerate and sent me one experienced male trekking guide and another female assistant guide so that I could be taken good care of. Besides of that, Dipak has been super responsive on my questions and I received emails from him at midnight during Nepal time. I would definitely recommend Trekking Planner to anybody who would like to trek in Himalayas.
12 days of trekking, yoga and meditation with a genuine good hearted woman as a guide and a very good yoga instructor made this trip to a magnificent trip for body and soul! Dipak is helpful and professional in many ways.
Thank you Dipak to giving me for this life time experience. Everything is very safe and enjoy very much in Nepal. Annapurna trekking was perfect trip for me. Our guide was very friendly and always listen to us. If you are looking for the Annapurna trip in Nepal I recommend Nepal Trekking Planner for you.
This is the first time trip in Nepal with my family. I booked my trip with trekking planner . The company provides excellent service and interesting story in Nepal. Our guide was very funny and very knowledgeable. He share good information about tours and also Nepal culture. My sincere thanks for making our first trip in nepal so memorable and we will come back again very soon.
Dipak and his all team was really great. He gives me cheap rates trip with including all activities. Fantastic service from these guys. Everything was well organized. Highly recommended!!!
I used this company last year, and had fantastic trekking both times. My guide was very professional and friendly. He have good knowledge about the history of the places we went through, the nature and the culture. I am very happy with the service from this company.
Thank you Dipak to giving me for this life time experience. Everything is very safe and enjoy very much in Nepal. Everest Base camp trekking was perfect trip for me. Our dear guide, Krishna was instrumental in the success of our journey and always listen to us. If you are looking for the everest trekking in Nepal I recommend Trekking Planner for you.
Overall, we had a very nice trek to Khopra Ridge (7 days) with trekking planner. The office organized all the logisitcs well and the itinerary was beautiful. The price was also fair.
Nevertheless, a few things keeps us from giving 5 stars. The english and communication skills of our guide/porter were not so great although they were very nice. We had trouble getting information sometimes and it was irritating to repeat the same questions over and over (where are we going? How long is it to the next village? Should we bring more water? Save our energy?). A guide should be proactive with its guests...and ideally know their first names by day 6.

Thank you Dipak and Kilnath for the great trip to Nepal! Everything has been very well planned and our trip therefore went without any problem whatsoever. It was nice to simply be able to enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. I would not hesitate to recommend Trekking Planner for the preparation of a trek to this beautiful country and will definitevely retain the services of this company upon my return to Nepal (hopefully in upper mustang!). Thanks again!

I recently completed the Everest High Pass Trek with Nepal Trekking Planners and it could not have been a more perfect experience. I highly recommend this company and they catered to every need.
First of the owner Dipak met me at the airport and brought me to my hotel. He even walked me up to the room to make sure it was okay. He was there the next day to introduce me to my guide for the Kathmandu city tour and then walked me to the welcome dinner. He was also there to take me to the airport, and meet me on the way back after finishing the trek. He explained that his priority is the service to his clients rather than having large numbers, and this was evident. He helped me book tickets to my next destination, and even took me to the right trekking stores in Kathmandu to make sure I had everything I needed. Truly an incredible guy.
As far as the trek I was a bit hesitant at first to do it alone (had a great guide, Khila and amazing porter Hare). For me it was the best decision that ever happened because I got to go my pace which ended up being quite quick. I watched as other large companies treated their groups almost like cattle and people had to wait in the cold for 30-45 minutes for everyone to catch up. The great thing about Trekking Planners is they cater the trek to any group size and are very flexible. During the trek I fell in love with Ama Dablam mountain, and my guide Khila allowed us to change the schedule so we could go to basecamp. Also along the way we were able to move around days and for me combine some things to make the days a bit longer since I completed things so quickly.
The ability of a company to cater to their clients and be so flexible is SO IMPORTANT on a trek. Everyone has a different trekking style and Trekking Planners teaches their guides to adjust the trek to 100% satisfy the clients. I had several people along the way say they wish they had known about Trekking Planners and I think there is no better sign than that. Accommodation and meals were always provided for in a timely fashion on the trek and it worked seamlessly.
The actual high pass trek is so incredible it is hard to describe without experiencing it yourself. The high passes can be challenging, but more rewarding for me than Everest Base Camp or any other part. The views are phenomenal for anyone up for a bit of adventure this is the trek for you. It allows you to get away from the crowds for a while, and to feel the beauty of the Himalayas.

Trekking in Nepal: Expectation Vs RealityI came across trekking planner whilst looking for a new adventure and it was the best thing that could have happened. prior to our arrival in Nepal all correspondence with Trekking planner owner Dipak was prompt and helpful, Dipak was always on hand to manage our plans and we changed plans several times without any problems. Dipak collected us from the airport and ensured we settled into our hotel. He arranged for extra excursions an Everest flight and a stay in the national park (Chitwan). we had a lovely welcome meal and were given all the information for our planned trek.
Throughout the trek we felt safe and cared for by both our guide(Krishna) and porters. During the trek we had to change our plans (due to illness) this was no problem for our guide and he was fully supportive throughout the trek ensure we were happy and well. He spent time explaining our daily itinerary and ensured we had good rooms and plenty to eat during our trek. He was always happy to answer questions and spent time with us offering local information, socialising and playing cards. By the end of our 10 days we had become a family.
The service from trekking planner didn't end there Dipak checked on us during our stay at the national park, met us back in Kathmandu, ensured we were all happy and had enjoyed our trip, arranged transport to the airport and ensured we arrived home safely the overall service from trekking planner, Dipak, Krishna and our porters was second to none, and I cant recommend Dipak and his company enough I would not hesitate to use his service again in the future.

I completed the Everest Base Camp 12 day Trek and it was an amazing experience due to the Nepal Trekking Planner. This company were very professional and were amazing and responding to all of my questions and issues over email - with a detailed itinerary etc.
I was a participant in the trekking to Everest base camp after the big earthquake, still happy that ive been with this organization. An amazing adventure and experience, very well organized
I have visited Nepal at the end of this January and it was fantastic! Dipak organized everything wonderfully and was always quick to reply before I have any questions. I trip with Dipak he is very excellent. Dipak was excellent and communicated very well. Overall, I am very satisfied with the travel service. Our travel contact, Nepal trekking planner is very responsive and helpful. Nepal tour is very nice and memorable. Thank you Dipak for such a memorable trip.
Dipak was my wonderful tour guide. Every time he replied Quickly. My friend and I spent 4 days in Nepal last month. Nepal trekking planner was recommended to us and we are really glad that Dipak arranged everything so well. I highly recommend them to all the people who are planning to visit Nepal.
I have traveled with Nepal trekking planner many times. Dillip and his team really made my tours audacious each time. If you want a trustworthy, well priced, well organized journey to Nepal by a local Nepal people, Nepal trekking planner Travel is for you...
We have booked our trip to Nepal with Nepal trekking planner for the 4-day trip to Everest base camp. This is our first time visited Nepal with my friends. During this period Nepal trekking planner gives excellent services. Our Guide Dipak took great care of us, was very punctual and professional. I highly recommend him was your tour guide.
Before i summarise on the title of this short story, let me first say what a great experience, one in which I shall never forget, thanks mainly to Ganache our guide who made the extra effort to ensure we were well looked after during the daily trek, passing on his knowledge of the surrounding areas and ensuring we were well fed and warm at the lodges. Appreciated the nightly Nepalese game of cards before hitting the sack for some well earned sleep.
Regretfully I became quiet ill with pneumonia and unable to continue. Ganache contacted Dipak the Manager of Trekking Nepal whom quickly arranged for a helicopter and ambulance to meet me at Kathmandu airport. Dipak was waiting at the hospital to ensure all formalities were taken care of and showed genuine concern as to my health, this impressed me and was indeed a reflection of how well the company had during the trek taken care of its clients. Dipak came to see me daily asking if there was anything I needed and whilst there would contact my family on his mobile so I could talk to them. This again a true reflection of there business ethics.
In summary although I got ill, I would have no hesitation to do this trek again knowing that Dipak and Ganache will perform small miracles should they be required.
Thanks Guys!!! (Dhanya badd)
See You Again ( Phen Bhetau Laq)
I had limited time in Nepal, and Dipak of Trekking Planner made my stay magical. The city tour was with a certified tour guide with perfect English, and his knowledge and explanations about the history regarding the sites we visited was amazing. I left with a much deeper understanding and appreciation of the Nepalese history and culture Dipak also arranged my trip to Pokhara for a few days, and saved me quite a bit of money. The Tourist Bus between Kathmandu and Pokhara was through beautiful scenery, with a couple of stops at tourist restaurants. He arranged a room for me at the Pokhara Eco Resort, with a balcony looking a the nearby Himalayas, for a very reasonable price When I return to Nepal, I will definitely use Trekking Planner for my tours and a trek in the Himalayas!
We enjoyed a fantastic trip to Sagamartha thanks to our colourful, humorous and friendly guide Narayan and our hardworking, polite porter Shayam.
Narayan guided us through the exciting 3-passes trek. Each part of the trek was perfect. All the places that we stayed in were clean and provided good value for money eating options, especially when you consider the remote areas we stayed in. Our health and safety were always a concern of Narayan and we never felt in any danger of developing altitude sickness.
There are so many trekking companies in Kathmandu, so it is not easy to choose between them. However, based on this experience I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Narayan and Shayam to accompany you on a trek during your time in Nepal. Two great guys who provided an absolute top notch experience and service.
This company surprised me with its excellent service and caring staff. I did a short 6 day Annapurna trek with a young and attentive guide named Dibash who was always willing to go the extra mile (often literally) to make sure I had the best possible experience. I finished my trek satisfied in every way, excepting perhaps the feeling that I could have gone on much longer!
My travel and accommodation around several cities in Nepal were also taken care of by Dipak, and I was quite pleased with this service as well. At the end of my stay I was even given complimentary transportation to the airport, accompanied by my guide and another friend I made in this incredible country.
Thank you Dipak, Dibash, and the rest of the company for an experience of Nepal that I'll never forget!

The itinerary had arranged by Mr. Dipak was great and suitable to our needs . Its was also reasonable to our quotation. Appointed guides , Mr.Siva on Kathmandu City Tour and Mr . Ganesh on Ghandruk Loop Trekking were great . Their knowledge were meaningful to us. Along 3 day in Ghanruk Loop, we experienced beautiful view of Annapurna in every morning. The weather was raining in evening. And thank God in the morning was bright morning shine.
My wife and I contacted several trek planning agencies by email around a month before our trek; Dipak was fantastic in his correspondence with us, providing prompt replies with detailed and clear responses to our questions.
Once we got to Kathmandu, we were greeted by Dipak and taken to the hotel and his office. Dipak gave us a clear outline of what would be happening over the next few days and introduced us to our awesome trek guide, Narayan. We had an enjoyable cultural dinner at night.
The next day, we were provided a guided tour of Kathmandu. The historical and cultural context the guide provided definitely enriched our experience of the temples, stupa and the city.
They organized a private car for us to travel between Pokhara and Kathmandu; no issues, no delays. Right before setting off on our trek, Narayan introduced us to our porter, Thaman. Over the next few days, my wife and I had a great time learning about the peaks, trekking routes, the forest, the farms, the Nepali lifestyle, and about our guide and porter. The trek was gorgeous and we never felt rushed. Narayan kept surprising us with local delicacies and we enjoyed a few rounds of card games on a couple of nights. When I sprained my ankle, he was attentive and took care of the situation. He also regularly kept track of the weather to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for us. Both our guide and porter were in positive spirits throughout the trek which made for a fun time.
After we got back to Pokhara, we walked around the lake and took a pleasant boat ride. We also enjoyed a celebratory dinner at a spot Narayan recommended. Finally, we made it back to Kathmandu and flew out the next day. Narayan came with us to the airport and Dipak met us to check if we were doing well everyday we were in Kathmandu.
Overall, a well planned, well executed experience and we thank Trekking Planner and especially the team of Dipak, Narayan and Thaman for a memorable time. I'd highly recommend Trekking Planner to anyone looking to trek in Nepal! We hope to make it back when the clouds are not around!

Dipak, Narayan, and the guys are just fantastic guides, who know Nepal's trekking regions very well. They will do everything they can to make you trip to Nepal and your trek to the Himalayas unforgettable. Their prices are really good and they treat their porters really well. These guys know their stuff for technical treks and climbs and can organize all travel and accommodation in Nepal and surrounding areas. I cant speak too highly of Dipak and his team.
4 day package. 1st in Kathmandu. Following days trekking in Shivapuri national park
Very friendly and service minded company. The trip was customized for us and they accommodated all our needs. The help us with equipment and guided us for the trip.
First day in Kathmandu was with a knowledgeable guide who showed us all interesting sites downtown.
The trekking trip were a family trip - 2 kids (10,12) and were done in their pace. The guides were very helpful and skilled. I would recommend this company.

From the first email we sent enquiring about a trek with Dipak the service was phenomenal. He could not do enough to help, and went above and beyond on every aspect.
He personally met us at the airport and ensured we were checked into our hotel and we're happy with everything (great accommodation and great staff) we booked a mountain flight through him to see Everest and the Himalayas and again he personally met us at the hotel and accompanied us to the airport (at 0500). We trekked to base camp with trekking planner and it was superb, small group (just 3 of us) great personal service from everyone, guides and porters. Stayed in better tea houses than most we met on our trip.
Look no further than Trekking Planner, these are your guys for any trek / trip to Nepal.

I'm arrived in Kathmandu and I've asked at Dipak (the boss of "Trekking Planner") to organise, for me, my son and my daughter, a fast tour at Chitwan Park, only two days but with all classics activities included, as elephant ride, canoying on the river, jungle walking, etc. After this he has organised a "tailor made" trekking of five days to Poon Hill (panorama of Annapurna) with guide and porter. Everythings was meticulously organised and our trips have been greats! Dipak personally follow all activities every day by phone and he act the eventually changes of the programs, following our requirements.
At the end, Dipak is a kind person and his organisation well done!

Dipak and the guys from Trekking Planner are the friendliest and best trekking company in the Himalayas. These guys can book everything for you. They are well priced and very professional. We wanted a company that was all Nepalese and treated porters well. Our porters carried light loads and were paid well. They carried about half the weight that most companies required. Annapurna was an amazing trek for the entire journey. The villages, the people, the tea houses were beautiful and we felt very welcome everywhere. The mountains defy description. They are the tallest landforms on earth and the alpine environment of the Annapurna Sanctuary is unique and beautiful. It is a hard walk but quite within the grasp of most reasonably fit trekkers. I recommend this marvelous place and this excellent company as a wonderful introduction to the Himalayas.
I used the services of this travel agency for my vacation in Nepal. They managed to reach my budget and the result left me very satisfied. I did several tours and the
EBC trekking, without any problem. The manager was very attentive and became a friend. They planned a wonderful vacations for me.
Great - 3 of us left the UK arriving in Kathmandu with great expectations. With hundreds of Trekking companies to choose from we were fortunate to find Trekking Planner Nepal. Great team they all performed way beyond our expectations, fantastic service, nothing was a problem and always happy. If you are heading into Nepal give them a call 5* doesn't seem enough, thank you for great times and memory's
There are no words that can adequately describe the experience we had on the Everest View Trek (Lukla, Namche, Tengboche, the Dudh Kosi River and all the places in between). The word "Awesome" falls considerably short in describing our experience. My wife and I were recently married and from our first date we both had always wanted to trek in the Himalayas. Deepak was the catalyst that made our Trek one of the most tremendous experiences of our lives. He was knowledgeable about the the mountains and the cultures. He is also a very enjoyable person to be with. And that in and of itself is extremely important if you plan any type of extended Trek. My wife and I were lucky we had the chance to have Deeps as our guide. We still keep in contact with Deeps and have recommended him to friends. Our hope is to someday get back to Nepal, and when we do, there is only one person I would want for our guide.
We had a good trip in Nepal last year on part of the Annapurna circuit, the Jomsom trek, with Dipak as our guide. His experience and knowledge of the area is second to none and when we return to Nepal we will certainly be contacting him again. We received a first-class, personal service and, remarks from other visitors we met in various tea houses who had booked with other trekking companies, were that our package was superior to theirs. For a reliable service and interesting trek we strongly recommend this guide and his team.
Two tailor-made treks in the Nepal regions "Everest Base Camp Trek & Jungle Safari in Chitwan" We researched many companies to book our EBC trek and after exchanged e-mails with Dipak he helped plan our EBC trek, tour in Kathmandu and Jungle Safari in Chitwan in a professional, helpful and organized manner.
On arrival in Kathmandu, we were greeted at the airport with a friendly, warm welcome from Dipak and he helped settle us in at our hotel and took us out for a traditional Nepalese meal as well as organizing a day tour with guide of Kathmandu.
Dipak's organization of our EBC trek was wonderful and the guide he supplied on the trek was informative, friendly and very organized in looking after us, making sure we had enough food, tea, and a decent bed for the night after a long day walking. The trek was beautiful and we had an amazing experience. We went back to Kathmandu after the trek was finished and Dipak greeted us and hear about our adventure and keep us informed about our next part of the trip - Jungle Safari in Chitwan.
We stayed in Chitwan National Park for 4 nights 3 days and stayed at a lovely lodge by the river just outside the town. We went on Elephant safari, Jungle walks, bird watching, canoeing, traditional evening performance and much needed relaxing after our EBC trek. We had lovely accommodation and by the river and very helpful staff who looked after our every need. It was our first visit to Nepal and Dipak made our trip hassle free, organized and all with a warm welcome which meant we could enjoy our trek to the fullest.
I would recommend Dipak and Trekking Planner services and I myself would love to return to complete some Annapurna trekking in the future and will be using Trekking Planner Nepal to do so. Many thanks for such a brilliant holiday of a lifetime! Lauren Connors Visited November 2014
" We have been trekking once with Dipak, when he was our guide on two tailor-made treks in the Nepal regions of Annapurna and Everest. We had booked these treks through an agency, and we were so impressed with Dipak's work that we stayed in contact with him. Two years later we went on a third trek..."
