EBC one of the best Trek of our life
I met Gyaljan during my recent Expedition Ama Dablam in Nepal, he is a gem of person, he shared lots of information and tips for high altitude climbing, and was ready to offer helping hand to everyone and tried his best to encourage the fellow trekkers. Also remembered meeting him briefly on my EBC Trek before.I wish to plan some expedition soon in Nepal.Best of luck Gyaljan, keep scaling new heights.
EBC trek with Gyeljan Sherpa from trekking planner
We did the EBC trek with Gyeljan Sherpa as our guide. He was an excellent guide and made the trek very enjoyable for us. He told us many interesting stories and jokes and made a hard trek easier by his light heartedness, humor and his keen attention on keeping us safe and healthy throughout. He reminded us often how to get used to the climate and the high altitude. We were greeted with a smile every time and even through those long treks. He would sing and joke and keep our spirits high. Until the end till we caught our plane from Lukla, he was with us and helped us with our luggage. Safety and having good laughs on the way were his way of dealing with us. Thank you, Gyeljan, for such a memorable trek. If we trek in Nepal again, we will always want you to be our guide. Trekking planner is a great company. Thank you!
Mera Peak , Nepal - September 2023
The organization by Kabrinda Lamsal and his team was perfect, taking care for all the details from our arrival to Kathmandu, during the trek and up to our departure back home. The guide Gyeljen Sherpa and Furi the porter were absolutely professional, friendly and helpful. Our trip was total of 20 days including international flights with 14 days on the trek to Mera Peak – 6476m. The trek wasn’t too hard and reaching the peak early in the morning was so Amazing!I really had a great experience and enjoyed mostly on the trek, the nature was amazing and lots of unforgettable views. Hope for great new adventures and higher peaks in the near future. Moty Feldman

The BEST Nepal trekking company for value, service, and confidence
Dipak created a custom EBC and Gokyo trek for us followed by safari in Chitwan National park. Excellent pricing and flawless delivery. From the moment we exited the airport to delivery back to the airport nearly a month later, we were taken care of every step of the way by the Nepal Trekking Planner team. They were like family, and our guides were all top notch - which shows just how connected Dipak is. All the accommodations were great. Overall, Nepal Trekking Planners strikes the right balance between value pricing and very good accommodations. We paid $20 more per night for private bathrooms and electric blankets, which made a huge difference for us. Our trekking guide Ananda and porter PJ were superb and so very attentive. Ananda planned our days based on our abilities and kept us at a sustainable pace. Whether a solo trek, a couples trek, or a group trek, we 100% recommend Nepal Trekking Planner - you will have found the best.
A Nepali Adventure - Trek with confidence!
Trekking the EBC and Goyko ridge was truly the experience of a lifetime! We are so appreciative of Trekking Planners for organizing our trip to our specifications and delivering far more than we could have imagined and far exceeding our expectations. Our guide Ananta was so knowledgeable and took very good care of us. Thanks to PJ as our Porter on this 20 day trek. There is a lot to consider when trekking to 18k feet with climatizing, explaining local culture, how to cross a suspension bridge when yaks are also crossing - and so much more! Dipak the owner of Trekking Planners Nepal was very well connected and flexible with our changes and available the whole time and his very friendly staff created an amazing Nepal adventure for us. Arranging flights to and from the trek points Picking us up from the airport 5 hours away when the flights to Khatmandu were rerouted, arranging our lodging and flight/ bus ride to Chitwan for a Safari adventure; Welcome and farewell dinners in Khatmandu where we met other Trekkers and locals. Arranging for tours of temples and UNESCO sites while in Khatmandu, and arranging a fine hotel in the heart of the Thamel area. We arrived during one Festival and left during another - truly a cultural experience! The Nepali people are welcomed with kindness and open arms. The people living in the mountains - accessible only by the trails - have delightful tea houses all arranged for us by our Guide Ananta who met us with warm lemon ginger tea after a day of trekking. We recommend Trekking Planners Nepal. They stand out among the competition for unbeatable attention, service and pricing. We’ll recommend to our friends and would use them again whole heartedly.
Fantastic 3 Passes Trek with amazing guide!
What an incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience! As a 69 year old South African woman (our highest mountain is only 3446m!), I would never have been able to achieve this amazing feat without the help of my wonderful guide and companion for the last 14 days, Fur Tenji sherpa an my porter Dawa. Fur Tenji (FT) Sherpa started his career at the age of 14 years as a porter and now is a very accomplished and experienced guide. He has put a lot of effort into learning English and in getting ahead in life. He is very observant and attentive and was able to read my changing needs all the time. He knew just when to give me some extra help, encouragement and support (eg. when I was using my last reserves of strength at the top of Renjo La). His greatest strength is in his caring attitude and his knowledge of everything around - routes, peaks, animals, traditional customs etc. I was most impressed when he picked up some litter along the way.
But the most valuable gift he has, is to know how to pace his clients. This is the only way to achieve the 3 Passes Trek with the right attitude and enjoyment - slowly slowly acclimatise, spend some extra nights in one place and when climbing uphill, just put one foot in front of the other and gradually go up without stopping and resting too often. He is a master at encouraging you to do this! He is clearly well-known and very respected and greets guides and porters along the way. I shall miss this very gentle, modest person and thoroughly recommend using him for your next trek in the Himalayas. A big shout out to Dipak from Trekking Planner who at short notice managed to get FT for me! Thank you!
