Dotted with dense forest and tall grasses as well as an array of flowers such as fig trees, eucalyptus trees, rhododendron plants and tree ferns in higher areas - while below this region lay rosewood and rhino apple trees among various shrubs such as hill glory bower and grey downy balsam plants - you'll be sure to discover an impressively varied environment here! It was Nepal's inaugural national park.

Chitwan National Park is home to more than 68 mammal species, such as the Bengal tiger that dominates its food chain, as well as leopards (spotted and clouded), wild boar, sambar deer and sloth bears - and more than 700 bird, reptile, amphibian and insect species! It was my first time in Nepal and i will probably come back for some more trekking and climbing. I really enyojed it from my first day to my last day. Everything was very well planned, the weather, views were amazing. The team always take care of me. My guide was Sonam, we made good team, all time i was safe and in good hands. He listened to my wishes and try to fulfil them.

After hard trekking and climbing is good to relax in Pokhara and Chitwa.

            Great personalized stay and experience

Trekker Planner made all arrangements for my 30-day stay in Nepal. My personalized tour to Shivapuri/Nagarjun, Chitwan, and Bardia National Parks exceeded my expectations. Even in the cool of December and cold of January, the magic of nature abounded. I was treated to the magic of seeing the iconic Bengal tiger, greater one horned rhinos, and gharials. It was earth of paradise being surrounded by the extraordinary variety of birds, including bee eaters, hoopoes, greater racket tailed drongos, and more. The surprises at these wonderful parks included seeing packs of jackals, yellow throated martens, gaur, and so much more. The staff of Trekker Planner were kind and went out of their way to provide care and personalized experience.
