Trisuli two days rafting, provided with a standard Itinerary where days can be shorter or longer as per water volume on the river as per the season-wise, some designated ‘put in and ending point’ can differ, due to the current of a river according to different season and other condition, etc…….

We will follow the itinerary if it needs to be changed in case of weather, and difficulties going over rapids might require more days, especially in late autumn and winter times, when our leader and lead head guides decide to hold full authority for Trekking Planner.

Start the day with an early morning drive of a few hours to reach Rafting ‘put in point’ at a place called Chauradhi. Drive takes you beyond Kathmandu valley and down towards low farm country, and then follow Trisuli River to the beach at Chaurdi. Meet our rafting crew members and the captain of the boat, where our head river guide the Captain will be brief on safety measures and all about Trisuli River and the current flow as well as paddling instructions.

Getting organized for rafting, as the captain will instruct the seating position on the side tubes of the boat, to maintain balance. The captain is seated on the back with a big paddle, as the adventure begins floating on smaller waves and soon encounters bigger waves called ‘Ladies Delight’, a pleasant and enjoyable rapid and soon come across the rapid named ‘Monsoon’.

After going through Monsoon, the Captain will harbor the boat to scout the ‘Upset’ rapid, and sitting tight and paddling strong through mighty bouncy rip curl waves of Upset rapid.

On conquering the greatest rapid of Trisuli Rafting, next head over ‘Surprise’ rapid then end the day at a place called Kurintar, located by the bank of Trisuli River.

Overnight in a nice riverside resort. With time for a short walk around the village of great interest.

The morning after breakfast walk to the riverside, for the last day of rafting adventure, following the same routine as the first day, head into pleasant waves then soon encounter an exciting ‘S-Bend’ rapid.

After going through the big winding rapid head downstream to go through another interesting rapid of drops and holes, called ‘Pin Ball’ or Mugling Rapid, as it is next to a town called Mugling Bazaar, located on the main junction of Chitwan, Pokhara, and Kathmandu highway.

Rafting continues heading down south, after a successful run over Pin Ball rapid, to reach around lower hills as the river gets wide after Seti River joins and then paddle through ‘Tea Pot’ and ‘Coffee Pot’ a small rapid with a whirlpool.

Finally, scenic and exciting floats complete heading at the Shore of Trisuli River at a small farm village of Ghaighat, located on the road to Chitwan and Kathmandu, after getting into dry clothes with time for lunch, then board in a vehicle for a drive back to Kathmandu.
