    As you arrive in Kathmandu, a representative will be waiting outside the airport holding a company placard to help with identification. Upon meeting, the representative will greet you and transfer you to a private vehicle for the drive to your hotel in Thamel. The ride from the airport to Thamel will take about 20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

    After you arrive at your hotel, the representative will assist you with check-in. Then you can go to your room and relax for a bit. Later in the evening, you will meet the company owner and discuss how the tour will commence. All your confusion and questions will be answered during the meeting.

    When the meeting concludes, you will join our representative for a welcome dinner in an authentic Nepalese restaurant. During the dinner, you can taste local Nepali cuisine while enjoying traditional dance and music. As the dinner concludes, you will be transferred to your hotel. There you can rest and prepare for the following day. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

      Wake up, refresh, and, if time permits, have breakfast or pack a breakfast to go from the hotel. Once you are ready to head to the mountain flight, a representative from Trekking Planner Nepal will come to pick you up from the hotel lobby early in the morning. The representative is responsible for taking you to the domestic airport section in a private vehicle. Once you reach the airport, you will board the plane for a mountain flight after all the logistics are handled.

      Your mountain flight journey commences as the plane takes off from the airstrip. All the passengers will get a window seat, and the number of passengers is limited. Similarly, as the plane takes off, you will move towards the Himalayan region of Nepal. The flight path can vary, but passengers usually notice views of Mount Everest (the highest mountain in the world), Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, and many more.

      Swayambhunath Temple, also known as the Monkey Temple, dates back to 460 AD. The temple lies on the western side of Kathmandu, a city that blends Buddhism and Hinduism. There are two entrances to the temple, one of which has 365 stone steps, each representing a day of the year. Some attractions of the Swayambhunath stupa are as follows:

      • Swayambhunath Stupa: White dome stupa with all-seeing Buddha eye.
      • Vajra: A large golden thunderbolt located on the eastern side of the stupa.

Then, as you get out of the car, you will come across the famous Phewa Lake in Pokhara, the second-largest lake in Nepal.         • Devi's Fall: It is a waterfall that forms a 500-foot-long underground tunnel before disappearing. The name is dedicated to a Swiss woman who lost her life while swimming there. The Davis fall area is beautifully landscaped and caters to tourists. The garden around the waterfall is perfect for spending quality time and taking photographs.
        • Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave: It is a large limestone cave that has a statue of the Hindu God Shiva. The limestone cave features an underground waterfall, suggesting that water from the Devi's fall flows beneath it. The waterfall running down a small pool is one of the highlights of the Gupteshwor cave. Other than that, the cave has a large Shiva lingam at its entrance.
        • World Peace Stupa: It is a white, dome-shaped hilltop stupa located in Anadu Hill. The stupa symbolizes purity and offers a stunning view of Annapurna and Pokhara. The World Peace Stupa features four images of the Buddha, each facing a different direction. The peace pagoda has several trekking trails that cross Phewa Lake, or one can cycle along tracks to the top of the hill. Reaching the hilltop can be part of a blissful silence and cool breeze.         • Pumdikot: It consists of a 51-foot-tall Shiva statue, which has religious significance. The Shiva statue is seated, with the right hand raised in a gesture of blessing. The left hand holds a Trishul, which symbolizes the power to destroy for balance. There are 108 stone-paved steps to reach the top of the Shiva statue.

        You can have lunch at any suitable spot between the Pokhara tour. As the tour concludes, the vehicle will drop you off at your hotel.             Today, wake up, refresh, and have breakfast in Chitwan. Then, pack your bags and head towards Chitwan National Park for exploration. Then board your flight back to Kathmandu, which will take about 30 minutes.

                Today, as you wake up super early, refresh yourself in Kathmandu. After breakfast, pack your bags and check out of the hotel. A private vehicle accompanied by a tour guide will pick you up from the hotel and take you on a scenic drive to Nagarkot. The drive to Nagarkot hilltop (2,175 meters) will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Upon reaching Nagarkot's hilltop station, enjoy the view of the sun rising slowly above the horizon. The

                Nagarkot hill station is a perfect place to enjoy the sunrise, as you will see the sunrays cast red and pink hues across the snow-capped mountains, including Mount Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and the Langtang range. Similarly, you can also witness other mesmerizing peaks, including Jugal Himal, Gaurishankar, Dorje Lakpa, Shisapangma, Hiunchuli, and Gyaltzen peaks from the top hill of Nagarkot.

                After quality time in Nagarkot, take a short tea break while enjoying the panoramic view. Then, prepare for the hike to Changunarayan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site about 12 kilometers away. It will take approximately 5-6 hours to cover the distance and reach the sacred site of Changunarayan. Changunarayan Temple is the oldest temple in Nepal. It offers an opportunity to glimpse the rich cultural heritage of the Kathmandu Valley.

                The day hike to Changunarayan temple begins with a transition from the urban area of Kathmandu to the countryside. Terraced fields, crisp air, and traditional villages with maximum hospitality will welcome you. Likewise, to reach the prestigious Changunarayan, you will walk through forested areas and along stone steps, passing numerous villages along the way. The hike can be tiring, so rest and hydrate.

                As you reach the Changunarayan premises, begin exploring the main temple. You can see the two-story main temple, estimated to have been built around the 4th century AD. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, one of the three principal deities of Hinduism. Similarly, the traditional Nepalese temple, built in traditional Nepalese architecture, is adorned with many sculptures and artworks depicting Lord Vishnu. Similarly, other temples of Lord Shiva, Ashta Matrika, Chhinnamasta, Kileshwor, and Krishna are inside the temple courtyard. Some of the popular attractions of Changunarayan are as follows:

                • Changunarayan Historical Pillar: One of Nepal's oldest inscriptions is inscribed on the Changunarayan pillar. King Mandeva made the Pillar of the Lichhavi dynasty around 464-505 AD.
                • Garuda: A statue of Garuda is located in the temple. Garuda is Lord Vishnu's flying vehicle with a human face.
                • Chanda Narayan: The Temple is also known as Garuda Narayan, is represented by a stone sculpture of Vishnu riding Garuda. It dates back to the 7th century.
                • Sridhar Vishnu:  It is a 9th-century stone sculpture of Vishnu, Laxmi, and Garuda.
                • Vaikuntha Vishnu: a 16th-century sculpture of Vishnu seated in the Lalitasan posture. The statue depicts six-armed Garuda and the goddess Laxmi sitting on the lap of Lord Vishnu.
