Safe drinking water 
Basically, we can get mineral water bottles. we suggest you drink boiled water which may charge a small fee, found in hotels and better to bring chlorine tablets to purify water, helpful for protection of the environment.

Hydroelectricity or solar power sources are used to charge your electrical items like camera, batteries, iPod, iPhone etc. Hotels or lodges provide these facilities. In Nepal, 220-240 volt power is used and sockets fit round and flat plugs.

Use a dustbin and do not throw anything into the fire. Carry garbages in the way where dustbin facilities are not available and conserve the environment.

Up on arrival at the international airport in the Kathmandu you will be picked up by our airport representative and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, you will have a short briefing about your tour than rest for while. After refreshment tour guide will come to pick you up at the hotel and take you to the half day sightseeing tours to Kathmandu Durbar Square. Back to the hotel and be ready for cultural dinner. Today after breakfast you will have day guided sightseeing tours Pashupatinath Temple and Bhaktapur Durbar Square than drive to Nagarkot for overnight. Nagarkot is one of the famous sunrise viewpoints of Nepal which is located near from Kathmandu on the hill from where you will be able to lovely panoramic Mountain View from east to west include Mt Annapurna and Mt Everest. This is such a nice place for a short walk around, you will able to join with local they are very friendly. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Today your guide wills weak you up an early morning for sunrise view on the mountain. After breakfast drive to Patan Durbar Square for guided sightseeing tours, than Swayambhunat Stupa and Bouddhanath Stupa. After an early morning breakfast at the hotel, Drive through the scenic countryside to Chitwan National. This is such a nice place in Nepal for Safari activities. Full Day Jungle activities include jungle safari on elephant back, nature walks, jungle drive, canoe ridge and bird watching in the park having 360 sq. miles of tall grassland and thick forests. After breakfast, we travel overland from Chitwan to the Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, where has been revered as the place of holy pilgrimage. Lumbini has been included as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Upon arrival Lumbini, we transfer you to the hotel, check-in and then we go walking through the Sacred Lumbini Garden where the Buddha was born converges on the Ashoka pillar, visit the Maya Devi Temple with its bas-relief sculpture depicting Maya Devi holding on with her right hand to a branch of pipal tree and giving birth to the infant Buddha who stand upon a lotus pedestal. After breakfast, we depart to Pokhara for about 5-6 hrs scenic countryside drive, the lakeside city, the most popular destination in Nepal after Kathmandu. Today an early morning breakfast drive leads on the good motorable road for about 45 Km. the journey continues along with the great scenery passing through several villages Naudanda, Kanre, and Lumle all the way to Nayapul. On arriving at Nayapul, where our adventure begins from the warm subtropical region, the walk follows the Modi River upstream to Birethanti & follows the east bank of Bhurungdi Khola with scenery of waterfall, high green forest. Lunch will be served somewhere on the way at the teahouses and finally reaches to Tikhedhunga. Stay overnight at the teahouses.

After breakfast in the place where you spend the night, today the trail steeply ascends on the long stone steps until Ulleri village with the scenery of terrace landscape and Annapurna Himalaya. After a few hours of long hard climb with several breaks in between reaching Ulleri village, from here the path is gradual on the winding trail through the cool shade of pine and rhododendron forest, the walk continues with few short ups and downs to the Ghorepani, from where you will be able to see a good view of Annapurna Mountain range. Stay overnight at the teahouses.

Today an early morning your guide will wake you up and take you to the Poon hill after about 45 min walk from where you will be able to see good sunrise on the mountain. Poon Hill named after the hill tribe Pun, inhabitants of Ghorepani and surrounding area. From Poon Hill, you will see Dolpo, Mt Dhaulagiri, Annapurna including Mt. Machhapuchare (Fishtail and Manaslu Himalayan range.

After short but very nice panoramic view from Poon Hill you walk back to the hotel. After breakfast you will continues trek to Tadapani, The walk passes through the rhododendron, Pine and bamboo frost with short up and down. Lunch will serve on the way at the teahouses. Stay overnight at the teahouses.

Today’s walk leads through deep forest an hours on the gradual path to Bhasi Kharka, from this spot the trail descends with the occasional view of the Mt.Annapurna ranges & Machhapuchre (Fishtail), through the forest, creeks and small streams to the Ghandruk village. This is a semi-modern village and gateway to Annapurna Sanctuary. On reaching Ghandruk at lunchtime and as well for the night stop with enough time to explore the village and Gurung culture. This is one of the biggest towns of this trek.

After a great time in the Ghandruck Village today you descending Pokhara via Birethanti one can see mules loaded with goods en-route. Walking distance is 05 hrs to Nayapool (New-bridge) from where you are going to finish your trek and drive back to Pokhara. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Well, after a wonderful time in the Nepal Himalaya and short rest in Pokhara, today you drive back to Kathmandu through the scenic countryside. On arrival transfer to the hotel, rest and relaxing afternoon. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Most Common FAQs

The best way to apply for visa is from the Nepalese diplomatic missions in your home country. The other choice is to get it from Immigration office at the entry points of Nepal.

There's no problem in it. The Immigration Department of Kathmandu or Pokhara can extend the visa for another 30 days and the charge for this is US$ 50. Indeed the visa can be extended for a total of 120 days, an additional 30 days visa may be granted on reasonable grounds from the Immigration Office. Nevertheless, a tourist cannot stay in Nepal under tourist-visa for more than 150 cumulative days.

In order to fly directly to Nepal from your home country, Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu is the only international airport in Nepal. TIA has direct air link with Osaka, Shanghai, London, Frankfurt, Hongkong, Singapore, Bangkok, Delhi, Dubai, Bombay and Calcutta. Lufthansa, Royal Nepal Airlines (RNAC), Air India, Singapore Airlines, Thai are the airlines that carry most of the foreign travelers into Kathmandu; and if you buy tickets from any other airlines, you will probably connect with one of these airlines for the final leg of your flight. Alternatively, if you have time and enthusiasm, traveling overland to Nepal via India is an option.

Amazing trek with this company!! I wouldn’t do it with anyone else. Our guide Nirmal was the best!

This company goes above and beyond! They think of every detail and take care of all the trekking needs including accommodations, food, water tablets, medical emergencies, etc. Our guide Nirmal was extremely familiar with the trail, he was attentive - making sure everyone was taken care of, made us laugh the entire way, gave great advice/tips/recommendations for a successful trek, generous (carried some of the day packs up when they were feeling tired), encouraged us and more! I was so impressed with how well thought out everything was and I loved that I didn’t have to worry about the details and all I had to do was show up. The other guides and porters were all just as fun, thoughtful, and accommodating. I would highly recommended these guys for the EBC trek!

Best trek in the world

In March i completed the Everest High Pass trek with Trekking Planner and had all the support i needed from Trekking planner from planning the trip, to arriving in Nepal and then completing the trek. I had an amazing guide in Gyeljen, whose knowledge of the area was the best! This meant I was able to make it over the passes when many other groups didn't due to the weather. He helped with all the accommodation and provided great advice to help me deal with the altitude and very cold weather as these were a new challenge to me. The whole team and Dipak were very welcoming and funny and this meant the trek and then the visit to Chitwan afterwards was one of the best experiences of my life! Would highly recommend and planning to return sometime soon.

Best Guide for trekking in the Himalyas

Everest Base Camp is such an amazing trek, but to have the best, kindest and funniest guide, who encouraged our team all the way and back, made my trek extra special. Nirmal Lamichhane your knowledge of all the mountains are incredible and you knew everyone on the trek. Watching you interact with the rest of the guides, they clearly have great respect for you. You are a natural leader. You are ambitious and know where you want to be in the future and I applaud you for studying while doing treks and taking people up into the mountains.

I enjoyed your stories and games along the way especially the last 2 hours before reaching Namche when it was up, up and up (your way of saying it is very steep). When I fell ill and gotten worse you were there all the way alongside me to help and encourage. The morning after reaching Base Camp when I was faced with being evacuated from Gorakshep, you told me that you believe that I could finish the trek and you would be there all the way if I choose to do so. Seeing the helicopter leave was hard but you believed in me and it made all the difference. Thank you so much.

Nirmal carried my bag on our decent in order for me to be able to breath better (I had bad flue, borderline bronchitis). Out of his own pocket, he bought us Fanta, lollypops, gum .... anything to lift moral on the last day down to Lukla. Our group had such fun with Nirmal.

If ever you need a guide, Nirmal is the perfect man for your trek. He does varies treks into the mountains, not only to Base Camp. Mountain expert, clued-up with flights to/ from Lukla, knows everyone and teahouses, can help with last minute gear, great knowledge about altitude sickness and knows how to take great photos (and how to pose, lol).

TrakkingPlanner and Travel Her Way are very lucky to have Nirmal as a guide.

The organising of my trip was great. Before leaving the UK, all my emails were answered promptly. Collecting from the airport, great accommodation in Kathmandu and the tea houses we stayed at on our trek was great. We were taken to a welcoming dinner at a local Nepali restaurant. What an experience. They also arrange for a farewell dinner back in Kathmandu - all included in the price. The care and detail was appreciated. Fruit and biscuits at dinner while on the trek- and the guides carried all of it all the way. Taking our oxygen levels after every meal to make sure we were in great shape.

All in all I had the best experience! Thank you Trekking Planner.

I have just had the best travel experience of my life.

What a trip!

What a great buch of guys at Nepal Trekking Planner!

Dipak and his team made my trip so easy, simple and enjoyable - I can't still hardly believe it.

I felt totally safe and fully supported - which was a big thing for me as I was unsure how the high altitude would affect me. I needn't have worried as my guide Ananta and porter Ganesh were brilliant - really helpful, patient and firendly. Every night my blood/oxygen saturation was checked which gave me real confidence. Not many of the guides from different agencies were doing this which suprised me a little.

I had 16 days in the mountains and enjoyed every minute. As things became harder or easier, my intinery was flexible with Ananta very willing recommmend alternatives and to make changes to suit. This made a real difference and I really felt that I got the most from my trek.

I'm not one for recommending and over-praising but Dipak, Ananta and Ganesh all went the extra mile to make it all very special indeed.

Well done guys and (funds permitting) see you next year!

Brilliant service

Just finished the EBC trip with Trekking Planner. Brilliant service from Prajol in Kathmandu who covered my every need with cheerfulness. My guide on the trek, Sudip, was excellent throughout ensuring I made it to Kala Pattar despite a severe headache. He was great fun and was ably supported by Damact (?) as my porter. All in all I really aprecated the service from Dipak and his team and recommend them wholeheartedly.
