"I had no idea how hard this trek would be for me mentally and emotionally. I am physically fit from the cascade mountains, but living out of a bag in group life, crowded trails and teahouses with folks one doesn't know is hard for an introvert used to lots of alone time. Our guides, Nirmal and Roshan, made sure I was OK. Nirmal had lots of jokes, games and cultural sayings to keep our group going. He has endless enthusiasm, energy and an incredibly patient and kind spirit. When we didn't want to eat he made sure we ate anyway. When we wanted to cry he made us laugh. I had to descend at from Loboche due to AMS and Nirmal made sure Roshan took me to a quiet lodge. These guides are top-notch, the best you will find in Nepal, or perhaps anywhere in the world. I am indebted to our porters as well for their hard work. Please consider Trekking planner and Nirmal in particular if you want to see Nepal on foot."

Trekked to Everest Basecamp and had a successful climb on Island Peak thru this company. Had my incredible fit and well English speaking trekking guide Ngima. He knew where to go and what to do, was very friendly and never complained.

Had a separate guide (Gyeljin, who also is a Trekking guide) for my climb on Island Peak. He was very confident and experienced, and also a lot of fun, with an incredible English. He knew what I was capable of because he saw my level of fitness, and mindset. Therefore he made the decision to go, if I felt safe to climb, even though we were behind schedule, due to bad weather. We had a successful climb from basecamp to the top in about five and a half hour. His confidence and great decision making, is the reason why I had a successful climb. As the weather only got worse for the next 4 days.

The whole Trek is in general beautiful, and I can fully recommend it to anyone. The whole is was also nicely organized and everything went smoothly.

I highly recommend Trekking Planner to everyone. We completed Annapurna Circuit
track at October/November 2019 and it was very very very beautiful experience.

We actually planned to go to Everest base camp (trekking & yoga). Due to the weather and cancelled flights for two days Dipak (Manager of trekking planner) helped us to find an alternative. New plan: Annapurna base camp. Dipak arranged everything over night for us.

Dipak did everything to make our journey to the time of our life. Thank you!

The sightseeing tour in Kathmandu organised by Dipak was very interesting and the guide very polite, helpful and good educated.

We did this Trek in April 2019. Overall experience is very positive. We enjoyed Himalayan mountains and the culture.
Our group was quite small - 4 people which was good because small groups are more flexible compared to large one.
We had a very good relationship with the tour guide. He was very friendly and always talked a lot about the culture and life in Nepal.
I am considering to come back next year and book again with the company.

My search for a local company with great service and the competitive total cost that would offer customized private trekking trip led me to Trekking Planner. I have been to Nepal before and have good experience with another company that I used - but, I wanted to up my expectations. I have been, as of today, very pleased with Dipak (the company owner) throughout my planning process. So I now have booked my trekking trip for the two of us (myself and my wife), which goes from mid-October to mid-November. I am expecting a great trip... I will follow up with my update once I come back from my adventure.
