We Begin our day in Pokhara; Trekking Planner Nepal representatives, guides, and drivers will receive you at the hotel. Rest well the previous night so you can wake up early for the sunrise adventure. Early in the morning, usually before sunrise, we will depart from Pokhara and drive to Sarangkot. The drive takes you up Sarangkot Hill to the viewpoint. Sarangkot is famous for its panoramic views of the Himalayan Mountain range, including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. It's a popular spot for watching the sunrise, as the first rays of the sun illuminate the snow-capped peaks, creating a stunning visual spectacle.  

Once you reach Sarangkot, we will find a good vantage point to watch the sunrise. The changing colors of the sky and the mountains are breathtaking sights you won't forget easily. Remember to dress warmly, as the early morning temperatures can be chilly. After enjoying the sunrise and taking in the beauty of the Himalayas, we drive back to Pokhara. The drive back allows you to soak in more of the lovely landscapes.

Once back in Pokhara, we explore the city's attractions for the rest of the day. We visit Phewa Lake, where we go boating or relax by the lakeside. The World Peace Pagoda(Shanti Stupa) offers another stunning viewpoint, while Davis Falls and Gupteshwor Mahadev's Cave showcase a unique waterfall formation from above and beyond. The International Mountain Museum is a great place to learn about the region's mountaineering history and culture. As the day ends, you can relax, have a meal, and reflect on your beautiful experiences throughout the day.

    4:30 AM: Wake Up and Drive to Sarangkot View Point from Pokhara

    Today, as you wake up, get refreshed, and get ready for the drive from Pokhara to Sarangkot. A private vehicle will pick you up and transfer you to the Sarangkot viewpoint. The drive will take about forty minutes or less, depending on the road conditions. Likewise, the drive will cover 11 kilometers to reach the hilltop.

    The journey to Sarangkot will begin in the Lakeside area of Pokhara and take you through winding roads, lush greenery, and charming villages. At the end of the drive, you will reach the Sarangkot hill station just in time to witness the beautiful sunrise.

    5:30 AM to 7:00 AM: Sarangkot sunrise view and return to the hotel

    Sarangkot is a hilltop station located at an altitude of 1,592 meters. Sarangkot is well-known for its panoramic views of the Himalayan range, including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. It's a favorite place to view the sunrise, as the first rays of sunlight illuminate the snow-capped peaks, producing a breathtaking visual spectacle. Sarangkot also offers stunning views of Pokhara and Phewa Lake below.

    Once you reach the viewpoint, immerse yourself in the sunrise view. The shifting colors of the sky and mountains are beautiful images that you will never forget. Remember to dress warmly, as early-morning temperatures can be frigid. After a while, you can have a short tea break where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains with a sip of a warm cup of tea.

    You can soak in the view and click beautiful photographs for an enjoyable morning sightseeing in Sarangkot. After the quality time in the viewpoint, begin your return journey. You can hop in the private vehicle, which will drop you back to Pokhara.

    Once you reach Pokhara, have breakfast, relax for a bit, and get ready to start your Pokhara Sightseeing Tour.

    9:00 AM: Pokhara Sightseeing Tour

    After breakfast, pack your bags and get ready for the sightseeing tour around Pokhara. In the sightseeing tour, you will visit the following landmarks:

    • Lakeside Pokhara: You will visit Phewa Lake, the second-largest lake in Nepal. You can spend quality time while boating across the lake, visiting the Tal Barahi temple in the middle. The lakeside area is a vibrant space with restaurants and pubs. It is also a good place for walking and peace.
    • Tal Barahi Temple: It is located in the center of Phewa Lake and is dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima. The temple is two-storied and represents the protester deity of female force. You can see pilgrims carrying male animals and fowls across the lake for sacrifice.
    • Bindabasini Temple: Located in the old part of Pokhara Bazaar, it is the oldest Hindu temple of Pokhara. You can seek blessings and offer offerings at the temple devoted to Goddess Bindhyabasini, regarded as an incarnation of Goddess Kali. It is believed that the central part of the goddess was brought from India.
    • Devi's Fall: It is a waterfall that forms a 500-foot-long underground tunnel before disappearing. The name is dedicated to a Swiss woman who lost her life while swimming there. The Davis fall area is beautifully landscaped and caters to tourists. The garden around the waterfall is perfect for spending quality time and taking photographs.
    • Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave: It is a large limestone cave that has a statue of the Hindu God Shiva. The limestone cave has an underground waterfall, proving the water from the Devi'sDevi's fall runs below the cave. The waterfall running down a small pool is one of the highlights of the Gupteshwor cave. Other than that, the cave has a large Shiva lingam at its entrance.
    • World Peace Stupa: It is a white, dome-shaped hilltop stupa located in Anadu Hill. The stupa symbolizes purity and offers a stunning view of Annapurna and Pokhara. The World Peace Stupa features four images of the Buddha, each facing a different direction. The peace pagoda has several trekking trails that cross Phewa Lake, or one can cycle along tracks to the top of the hill. Reaching the hilltop can be part of a blissful silence and cool breeze. You can meditate or interact with the local monks.
    • Pumdikot: It consists of a 51-foot-tall Shiva statue, which has religious significance. The Shiva statue is in a sitting position, with the right hand raised in a gesture of blessing. The left hand holds a Trishul, which symbolizes power to destroy for balance. There are 108 stone-paved steps to reach the top of the Shiva statue.

    4:00 PM: End of Sightseeing Tour and Departure

    After the sightseeing tour, you can have lunch in the area. The private vehicle will then drop you off at the hotel or at a predetermined location.
