Trekking Companies plan itineraries and arrange guide and porter
As they were not familiar with the mountain road conditions and had not trained their physical fitness beforehand, it brought extra burden to Mr. Achyut and Mr. Govinda.

1. Observe the detail of the customer. Such as walking posture, stride length and strength, breathing speed.
2. If the customer's physical condition changes, they will provide immediate care
3.Will help customers carry their carry-on bags, so that they can walk easily.
4.Will provide you with pertinent suggestions on the route and accommodation arrangements.
5.Because the customer walks slowly the guide will walk with you
6.We will adjust the client’s food to see if it is suitable for their current physical conditior, for example : don’t eat foods that produce gas, don’t eat dry foods, how much sugar to add to lemonade.
7. Will check if there are enough ingredients in the kitch. After the meal. .Asked the customer what they thought of the meal.
8.Before watching the sunrise will confirm whether the customer’s assembly is sufficient
9. A cup of hot water will be served to customers when watching the sunrise
10.Find a good place to take photos

I joined 14-day trekking trip solo in April 2025 for EBC with Gokyo lakes. This tour is amazingly good and well-organised. Both Sonam, the guide and porter, are very helpful during the whole trip, especially the guide Sonam took many beautiful photos for me, he is a professional photographer! I highly recommended for everyone to join trekking planner for your trip in Nepal. I love Nepal! I definitely will come back and join other trekking tours with trekking planner.

Trekking to Everest basecamp was truely a one of a lifetime experiance! Thanks to Nepal Trekking Planner we were well taken care of from when we first arrived to Kathmandu until we flew back home again. The trekking was well planned and organized, accomodations were booked in forehand and the agency picked us up and dropped us off at the airports. When our domestic flight from Kathmandu to the Everest-region was cancelled the agency managed to get us seats in a helicopter to a reasonable price. Specially our guide during the trekking, Dibash, made our stay unforgetable. We always felt safe, wellinformed and he gave us good advice on how to cope with the high altitude. We had some good laughs together and Dibash is now a close friend to our family. So, if you’re planning to go to Nepal for trekking and are looking for an agency and guide, we highly recomend Nepal Trekking Planner and Dibash as guide.

We recently went on a multi-day tour as a family of five and were fortunate to be paired with Dibash (guide) and Shiva (driver) — both of whom delivered absolutely outstanding service.

Dibash went above and beyond throughout our 4–5 days with him. His service was warm, attentive, and thoughtful — we truly felt like we were treated with royalty-level care. Shiva was equally impressive as a driver: smooth, professional, and very familiar with the routes. Both of them were also kind enough to take some beautiful family photos for us on their own initiative — a gesture we deeply appreciated (though of course, future guests should not treat them as personal photographers!).
This amazing duo is the main reason I’m giving a 5-star rating — they made our journey feel safe, special, and memorable. I highly recommend both of them.

However, a big area of improvement is the accommodation arranged by the tour agent. We were unhappy with all the hotels provided throughout the journey except Kathmandu — lacked heating, had cracked toilets, and showers had no warm water during this harsh winter trip. This was very disappointing and made parts of the trip uncomfortable. I spotted better-looking accommodations along the way and wondered why those were not chosen.

We were especially unhappy with the hotel initially booked for us in Pokhara. Thankfully, I was allowed to switch to a hotel of my choice, which made the rest of my stay there much better.

To be clear: the accommodation decisions were made by the travel agency, not by Dibash or Shiva, and should not reflect on their excellent service.

On another note,I truly appreciate the warm welcome when I reached Kathmandu as well as the smooth and well-organized airport and hotel transfers, both in Kathmandu & Pokhara — it was efficient and seamless.

With better accommodation choices, this trip would have been nearly perfect. But thanks to Dibash and Shiva, we still brought home great memories.

To start off, I was impressed by how responsive Dipak (CEO) is. This was my first trek to Nepal, and I wanted to get answers to my queries, helping me reduce my anxiety. Dipak was always there to answer them. It was a solo trek in my case, and I did get a few other quotes; a few of them were cheaper, but I went ahead with Trekking Planner because of Dipak. Today, when I write this review, I am so glad that I did that. His entire team is equally as awesome as Dipak, making my trek a wonderful experience.
 

Absolutely great trek! We followed the typical EBC trek, but also added the Cho La pass and Gokyo lakes. Dibash is a great guide and made the journey smooth and successful. He is attentive, poised, responsive, and thorough. Dibash is knowledgeable about the area and connected with the community and resources. So thankful for him and his team. Absolutely no complaints— highly recommend!
