The EBC trek was a great experience with spectacular views. The guide (Sudip) and the porter (Umis) did a fantastic job.

This was my first time on an organized trekking trip ,and i must say I was not disappointed . The guide binod was very knowledgeable and professional,not to mention a genuinely nice person , very easy to interact with and always to answer question i highly recommend him

Wow. What an amazing experience. I went with one friend and we did the 17day trek to Everest base camp. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Dipak, the owner of the company was on top of all our questions before starting the trek, and once we arrived in Kathmandu everything went smoothly from pickup at airport to providing a quality hotel (to start and end our trip in comfort.)

We originally planned to have a guide and one porter (to carry the big duffle bags), but last minute, because my friend was sick, we asked for an additional porter to carry our backpacks as well. These three men were AMAZING!

Ananta, our guide, made us feel safe and took care of all our needs instantly! When we needed a jeep, (cause we were so exhausted) he immediately arranged one, no issues. When we needed a helicopter (after reaching base camp) when we couldn’t walk any further, it was orranged. When we needed a plane straight back to Kathmandu, it was also handled with no issues.

Ananta accurately estimated how long it would take us (at our pace) to reach each destination. He advised us on when and how much diamox to take to help with altitude sickness. When I was freezing he made sure to get me a hot water bottle for my sleeping bag so I could sleep without feeling I’d freeze. He never rushed us, but made sure we were able to finish each stage at our own pace and making sure we were well. He never pressured us to move faster, just very patient with our pace.

Our porters, Prajan and Namaraj, were stellar! Always a smile on their faces and I don’t even know how they can carry what they did the whole trek while easily walking down the sides of mountains or up steep stairs. Truly amazing strength these Nepali men have. They make it look easy while we struggled carrying nothing.
Everything went smoothly with this company and I couldn’t recommend them more. We will always have amazing memories from this trip due to their reliability and professionalism and always a smile! Thank you!!

Trekking planner manager Mr Dipak has been very professional and prompt right from the start when I first contacted him to enquire about EBC trek. Mr Dipak very promptly and clearly answered my every queries! Finally, when I arrived in Kathmandu until the day I left, everything was arranged very efficiently! My Guide Pasang and my porter Pema were very patient ,encouraging, helpful and took care of me very well throughout the trek.I will happily recommend Trekking planner and Pasang to my friends, who wants to visit Nepal.

My mother and I had the pleasure of doing the Annapurna Base Camp trek with Anish as our guide. It was an really good experience, and I would like to sincerely thank Anish for his care and guidance.The route selection and stages were suited to our needs. Even without much preparation, we were able to manage the trek easily, as the stages were never too long, and we always had enough time to relax in the afternoons. The entire tour could have been done in five days, but I found the longer route to be especially beneficial for acclimatizing to the altitude while also giving us the chance to enjoy some good views of the Annapurna massif.The accommodations were well chosen for the local standards – two times we even had private bathrooms with hot showers. Of course, one should not expect European standards, but for the region, the accommodations were quite good. Along the way, there were always opportunities to take a break, have tea, or eat something or refill our water bottles. For Europeans, it can be difficult to determine which water is truly drinkable, and sometimes you might need to pay extra, even if it was initially included.The food was always tasty, and we had the chance to meet local villages and the people living there, which made the trip even more enriching. The ascent to Base Camp was tough, but every step was worth the effort.Anish, our guide, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. He always took care of our well-being and tried to answer all of our questions. Even in difficult moments, he remained calm, which I really appreciated. A particularly fun moment was when it got very cold at night on the huts, and he was teaching me some Nepali dance moves. We had a lot of fun, laughed, and warmed up in the process.
A suggestion for improvement would be more clarity about what exactly is included in the trekking package purchased through trekking planner and what we could actually expect during the tour. For the trip in March, a down jacket, trekking poles, and crampons were essential. A sleeping bag wasn’t strictly necessary, as you could sleep well under three blankets in the huts.
In conclusion, I want to thank Anish once again and say that this trip was a true adventure that I will never forget, especially as I experienced it with my mother. Without such a dedicated guide like Anish, I would never have dared to take this trek with her. Now we are both proud and happy to have shared this wonderful experience.Thank you, Anish!
